- It’s time to get crafty, once again! We’re talking about those craftily-crafted craft, Star Trek’s Shuttlecraft. Round 2! Seriously, these light, robust crafts can almost certainly not take more than one shot before crash landing. I’m, of course, joking, but let’s be honest, shuttlecraft in the Star Trek Universe don’t have an easy time of it. Just like I had a horrid time trying to say Craft at least 10 times before the end of this intro, which I have just failed to do.

I hope at some point in the distant future, Exploration SpaceShuttles, will get made, and used to check out the surface of unknown planets, in real life.
Plus to add I hope (Emergency Escape SpaceCrafts) will get made in the far distant future as well.
The reason why, is because I really like, the fictional Emergency Escape SpaceCrafts, and the fictional Exploration SpaceShuttles.
I always thought the Laurentian Cluster was a nod to The Hunt for Red October because of the Laurentian Abyss is the deep part of the ocean that the final sub battle took place or is it just me? :)
would have been nice to still see the discovery type c shuttle in picard season 2 and 3 feel like they are scrapping way to many ships off screen in star trek i think my favorite shuttle if its even classified as a shuttle is the one picard used in insurrection

Nope The Yellowstone class runabout is the best!!! Its what i imagine when vanlifeing the solar system
A Yellowstone-class or Danube-class runabout is a very small starship, not a shuttlecraft.
I’d go with the Delta Flyer for van living, unless Trek Central would buy off on the Federation Scout Ship from Insurrection being classed as a shuttlecraft!
Why would u have unarmed military transports during the Klingon war?
Despite being the simplest Shuttlecraft, I like the Shuttlepod from Star Trek: Enterprise

Uhh...was the delta flyer not mentioned because it was technically not a starfleet shuttle? Because the delta flyer was bad ass. Just sayin.
Technically, the Delta Flyer IS Starfleet. Google it.

Early Disco shuttles broke all the trek lore, and were just stupid.
It's just easier to think of it as a different timeline from the rest of Trek. Like the Kelvin timeline. Makes for a much more enjoyable show

The series aren't Kelvin timeline, those are all arguably post-First Contact timeline series.
In fact, Discovery season 3 makes it clear that the Kelvin timeline is an alternate timeline to that one.
Janeways shuttle of course. It has incredible advanced tech and could take several blows from a Klingon ship and that armour is just cool!
Also... Just tell us about the shuttles we don't need your bad jokes mate it's so annoying and so off putting. If the video starts with your voice I generally turn it off because I know I'll get less information because you think this is your stand up routine. Let it die, it's not funny it's cringe!!
