  • Film making is an art that is acquired through years of trial and error, practice and dedication. you can go to a film school or you can intern under a senior or perhaps even learn it all by yourself.
The purpose of this video is to help aspiring filmmakers to get an understanding or insight into different crafts, from people who have been there and who have done it themselves.
so here is chapter two of our one on one with Director Teja
Director Teja started off in films to earn a living for himself. He first began his stint as a light man in over 30-40 films. After working in Madras, he made his way to Bombay, where he graduated to becoming a cinematographer working for films like Raat, Mela etc. Teja's first directorial venture was the smash hit movie "Chitram". He later went on to produce over half a dozen movies.

Hey, nice questions and indeed good answers! Watched few of your interviews. Mostly sensible !
By the way, why is your channels' name 'coffee in a chai cup' ?! Any particular reason?! I was wondering this for a while. Just curious..

I request people to understand few points in about this film Sita and its controversy
It is not just the title "SITA" but the references to hindu mythology RAMAYANA that created the controversy of religious aspect. If you have watched teaser/trailer, there are these dialogues with reference to RAMAYANA in just 3 mins of the film content
    1) Meeru nijamgane devata, anduke sita ani peru pettaru
    2) Nuvu sita vi kaade surpanakavi
    3) Intha kantri pillaki aa peru pettaru enti anukuna pkkane sriramudu unnadana sangathi ardam kaale naku
    4) Ravanasurudu Sitadevi ni tiskelladam tappu kaadu, ramudu bharyani tiskelladam tappu
Obviously, there will be curiosity/doubts/apprehensions among ardent hindu followers on what is this film based on. Adding to that, there are instances where opinion on livin relation, Moneyminded nature of sita is shown. That complicated the situation.
I feel there is nothing wrong in hindu loyalists/ramayana followers getting offended for this one. Genuinely hindu people have all the right to feel offended but we need to respect the Censor people and believe that they have taken all religious sentiments into consideration.
Even if there is any religious offending content, the democratic way of protest is to question censor people on how they allowed such content and not the film crew. Only if censor stops, people stop making such hurting content
