So the frequency is now every 5yrs of extreme weather for Calgary. There was Calgary's downtown core flooding around the same time in 2013 too.

Might be a Billion dollars damage or more , and hail prevention program couldn't prevent it.
I hope insurance companies will be generous to all Calgarians. No human life loss , no injuries, good news.

Such a freaking fail. You know those alerts you get on your phone for emergencies?.... this should most definitely have been on that list, but we got nothing. During a time when people just want to ignore the news because of the covid hysteria, an emergency notice should have been sent to mobile devices...

lol I was actually on vacation there the day this storm hit. I was at the zoo that day and it was at least 30 degrees celsius. We got back to our hotel and right before we went to the pool I looked out the window and the clouds were black.

Why do people insist on denying the facts...The storms are more intense, closer together...I wish people would accept global warming is real! Funny how Bush cheated to win the election where Al Gore actually won...and instead of a war for oil, we would have had a war on climate change!
      Little things add up.

@@KrisWolf4 Because America is a world leader. If the world had went one way, in one election...we would, globally, be fighting climate change since 2000. Instead, we are now feeling the effects of ignoring it.
