No 40k because cannon fodder is the bread and butter of the universe
We routinely kill the cannon fodder ourselves in order to help maintain unit morale.
Not true! We only have the Imperial Guard, Ork Boyz and Tyranids! And Chaos Cultists. And Necron Warriors. And Genestealer hybrids. And Poxwalkers.
Ok........ you MAY have a point.
Arent tyranids the literal definition of cannon fodder?
@@kermitthehermit5476 Really depends on the Tyranid subspecies. The Gaunt subtypes (Hormagaunt and Termagaunt) certainly are cannon fodder, however, higher organisms like Carnifexes or Tyranid Warriors certainly aren't cannon fodder, they are more the special use/special forces types. Finally there are the leader organisms, like the Hive Tyrant (and its final culmination in the Swarm Lord), which are directing the cannon fodder.
Eckhart could have done a whole video on Just different units of cannon fodder in 40k. Let some other factions get some screen time...for now.

People don't give grunts enough credit. They only look small in game due to MC being 7 feet tall: Grunts are really around gorilla sized and with a similar amount of muscle, in the novels they literally tear marines apart by hand. They are also one of the smartest covenant races, easily learning human languages, and most have exoskeletons which would protect from non-ballistic/energy weapon projectiles. They only reason they aren't OP as hell compared to most other franchises's cannon fodder or humans is their reliance on thier methane packs and being naturally cowardly/lazy.
Jabberwockxeno The methane packs actual decrease a grunt’s mobility. It was stated in a novel that grunt are actually agile climbers. Also a large grunt named Stolt was able to hold his own in combat against pretty much every enemy he encountered.
@@peskymacaw9033 they also hunch over a lot, both grunts and gorillas
@@peskymacaw9033 and as stated before, they look tiny in game due to the cheif's sheer size. Along with the elites. In the novels and lore, a grunt is often as tall as a gorilla.
Jeff Willsea wrong, grunts are usually 4 ft tall, and they don’t really hunch over, it’s their methane pack that makes it seem like they hunch over.
I would also like to point out, the Grunts were so numerous, intelligent and skilled that when they rebelled (without weapons, they were not armed prior to the rebellion) they nearly broke the covenant and required the direct intervention of an Arbiter and the glassing of their homeworld to be brought down. Prior to the rebellion, they fought only with their fists.
Before watching the video, here's my assessment of the factions involved;
1. Zerglings; Arguably the most iconic sci-fi entity when discussing "cannon fodder", the zerg rush is a tide of blades and teeth, no real disadvantages to be found imo.
2. B1 Battle Droids; Robots will always outweigh sentient soldiers in terms of being cheap and fast to produce, thus making an effective swarm, but they were never utilized to their full potential.
3. Ungoy; Fast reproduction and maturation makes them decent swarm troops, but again they were never utilized to their full potential.
4. Storm Troopers; Require massive infrastructure to recruit and train, impractical for any civilization that hasn't already won.
Post-Watch Edit: I feel like the B1s as a concept were better than the Storm Troopers, but the execution is where they fall off. Storm Troopers had better armor, better gear and better training, making them individually more deadly combatants, and thus a better overall army; however, if the Empire had employed massed droids instead of human troops, they likely could've turned all that infinite money toward making a decent combat unit, something maybe halfway between a B1 and a B2 with a little bit of IG-1000 Magnaguard thrown in, and then churned them out by the billion per planet. Ultimately though, that would just be the mechanical equivalent of the zerglings, who are a decently powerful combat platform in their own right, which the Swarm then takes and spams out by the billion to literally run over anything in their path. In-game they're not that relevant, but lore-wise a zergling sea advancing toward you is reason enough to start praying xDD
Well it’s funny you say that because the empire wanted to eventually replace stormtroopers with dark trooper droids. But the empire lost so them being used in mass production obviously didn’t happen
I saw the zerg insignia, I clicked the notification. I was happy it wasn't 40 this time.

I personally love the zerglings being a SCII Zerg main. I think the two most well known species are the Raptor and Swarmling the Raptor was a much better zergling being able to run much faster and jump insane distances. The Swarmling is not as "athletic" as the Raptor but they reproduce at an insane rate almost 10 seconds after they're eggs are layed it's ready to fight. When certain broods are
evolved enough some zerglings gain the ability to live twice only slightly weaker the second time.

Damn man you keep pumping out these quality videos so quickly. Its the best yo
3:45 does anyone noticed the static?
To be fair, the Zergling is so effective that they can grow into more specialised roles.A fully evolved zergling can go from being cannon fodder to being a strike team unit.
In game,a zergling with +3 melee weapon upgrade, metabolic boost (large movement speed upgrade) and adrenal glands (large attack speed upgrade),they can potentially be the most damaging unit in starcraft 2 in relation to their cost,by far
Which means you can use them for lightning fast attacks on undefended outposts, ripping apart even the biggest buildings in seconds and pulling back with no casualty,or you can put them behind a bigger unit, such as an Ultralisk to soak the hit for them, and let them lose on your enemy, due to their incredible speed and very high damage potential, they cannot be stopped before dealing some impressive damage unless the opponent has specialised weapons to deal with them.
This is probably what makes them the best cannon fodder unit, they can be cannon fodder, but they also can be so much more both in combat and scouting roles, unlike cannon fodder like the B1 which is basically worthless
The Silver Dragon doesn’t this inherently make them not cannon fodder then?
They can still be cannon fodder,it really depends on how much ressources a queen wants to spend to evolve them, and how they are deployed
Their main function remains being cannon fodder, they just have the tools to be more than that if the situation calls for it
they are still the unit you send in early and often, to soak damage for your most expensive units - they cost as much or less than a worker to produce(dont remember if spawning a zergling is 50, 75 or 100 minerals for the pair offhand), and i dont think any other factions cannon fodder unit(marine, zealot) can take that 2v1 the zerglings throw down. they are also bioengineered by Abathur(who can somehow splice and modify genetic strands without technology) to be as cheap as possible without compromising their abilities
@@edschramm6757 100-125 i think for multiplayer

Here are some of my ideas:
1.) *BODY* = Why not just upgrade their chassis with the body of a BX Command droid? I mean you could have an entire army of Athletic battle droids but nowhere as advanced as a standard Commando Droid.
2.) *TECH* = Give their photo-receptor eyes with multi-purpose scanning rays like thermal, X-ray, night vision. Also if one of them has a radar-backpack, upgrade it so they can call upon air support from nearby cruisers or starfighters.
3.) *WEAPONS* = The E-5 is shit in all levels of efficiency. So why not replace them with E-11 Blasters or the Rebel alliances A280 Blaster rifle.
4.) *CLOSE RANGED COMBAT* = How about a wrist attached Vibro-Blade for some high ranking officer droids?
5.) *ENVIRONMENT CAMOUFLAGE* = Stealth cloaking devices but when it started to rain, good luck with that.
6.) *COMPUTING* = I wanna replace their standard AI like a newborn clone trooper, meaning that they fight then the more they learn about everything the Galaxy might throw at them.
Tech and AI. They need to act like normal soldiers instead of just standing around getting killed. Their weapons and armor are fine. Those are on par with Clones in most cases. They just need to be a bit more flexible and intelligent.

Replicators vs a Unified Star Wars universe (370th try now, *_I._** WILL NEEEEVER EEEVER GIVE UP!!!)*

Stargate very own Borg/Zerg/nids.
They have overran the Asgard, utterly destroyed the main villains know as the system Lord's. just one "bug" variant about the size of a small dog killed everyone in a Russian submarine.
Given enough material, one can become several thousand within a day. They will keep coming when they given a goal. Only thing show to damage or destroyed the simple bug variants are kinetic weapons, or special weapons design to kill them.
"Human" variants are even more dangerous, as they are immune to ballistics, and are intelligence and even have their own personalities.
One time there was hybrid cyborg created, but this was done only once on screen and such was probably rare.
star wars would be fucked so very hard. they basically use nothing but energy weapons in both as ground side weapons and in ship based weapons. their lack of innovative thinking, technical skill and improvement as tech in star wars has never really improved much other than getting bigger and sillier super weapons. and while star wars ships are massive that's also a problem as the would be easier to infest by a hand full of repliactor bugs. not to mention the infectiveness of internal scanners in star wars and the replicators own ability to hide form even from the most advanced scanners. though because of the star wars universe lack of technical innovation the replicators would Plato and stagnate very quickly as they cant really improve past what they eat. all that much. even the ancient made replicators never out did their creators tech. they just stat on their asses. and built and built a planet sized city. plus you wouldn't see that many human form replicators as they require very specialised resources. though that's both a boon and a down fall. a boon in that the replactors hordes would maintain a consuming hivemind mentality and remain highly effective as they wouldn't be distracted by human form Reps nonsense. but they would lack creative thinking and easily manipulated
I totally agree with you about the B1 battle droids, with not having upgrades and updates. Look what a single kid did in the aftermath books. He took a B-1 battle droid and upgraded it and gave it new programming and made it into Supreme killing machine. I understand that was a single Droid but if they would have spent half the time on the B1 battle droids that the kid did they would have been really good. BONES is a beast........

Eh, bones benefitted from Plot Armour.

No, the B1s are designed to be bad on purpose. This made them very cheap for mass production, and often they could produce B1s faster than they were destroyed. They sound like shit until you realize you are outnumbered 100 to 1 and the number of B1s keeps going up.

B-1 as battledroids are less than optimal solution (OOM and B-1 series were originally security droids - someone has to shoot at pirates while they try to board ship), however as replacement for ship crew are good enough (maybe with little improvements in programming and harsher quality control)
OOM series are smarter anyway, they were descigned for command and sercurity and piloting, and are good at it. the B1 was designed to clear out pirate bases and counter boarding pirate ships, which they are good at. the droids are shown to consititantly beat all non-clone organics easily (except in that show, the clone wars which is quite ovisously biased as they portray the droids as weaker and stupider then both episode 2 and 3 [which are ment to be the same period of drois], the makers even said they portrayed the droids as weaker and stupider then other cannon])
in canon new B1s and OOM droids are fairly good, the problem is that their owners don't always maintain them well, but even then they are considered better then recruited organics 1 vs 1 in all but create skills, being worse only to elite organics like clones and mandos
Actually I remember that the B1 droids did defeat the Dathomir Witches quite successfully, push Anakin's and Obi-Wan's forces out of Felucia, and completely overrun Obi-Wan's fleet as he attempted to rescue Ahsoka and Jedi younglings in the Clone Wars Series.
Now me a person who plays starcraft now this does put a smile to my face
Should have mentioned that the fact that Zerg relies on an psionic over mind means while they are just animals on their own, they are super effective when it comes to coordination because basically one overlord or brood-queen would be overlooking any attack.

For next time, how about a factions compared on "Best Elite Warrior Of An Advanced Sci-Fi Species", comparing a veteran Sangheili from Halo, a Khalai Zealot from StarCraft, an Eldar Howling Banshee Exarch from Warhammer 40k and an Elite Yautja Hunter from the Predator/AvP franchise?
I... am not sure why you decided to make it a Howling Banshee Exarch of all things. A Howling Banshee would be fairer, but given the natural speed, agility, and flexibility of the Eldar plus Banshee training, plus banshee equipment (Power Swords, Banshee Mask /w sonic scream, and Shuriken Pistol) the Banshee is still *heavily* favored . The only scenarios where the Banshee actually loses are due to a stealth ambush from the Sangheili or Yautja, or death by nuke. In virtually all others, the Banshee dominates; Charge the enemy and reach them within seconds and cleave through them with a lightning fast blow from their power sword. Use Pistol and sonic scream as necessary to suppress the enemy while closing the distance.
Khalai Zealots are not elite warriors. They're the second least elite thing in the Protoss arsenal after Interceptors and Interceptors are so easy to manufacture it's worth having the factory flying over the battlefield to build more as they die.
@@nathanbrown8680 If you only look at the gameplay, it is understandable you could get that impression, but that is an incorrect view of things. The Khalai Zealots in particular are by far the second most elite infantry in the verse. The only thing that comes before them are Purifier Zealots, who are literally the exact same as them - thinking personality, with the experience and abilities of hundreds, if not thousands, of other warriors, which they have adapted for themselves - all stuffed into a hyper advanced Space Terminator body, which completely removes the mental destabilization factor, rather than it being greatly reduced. The only thing coming close to them would be Tal'Darim Zealots, but only because they are slightly larger as a subspecies and have a high psionic energy output. However skill and ability wise, the fact that the average Khalai can just download "Top 1K Best Warriors Throughout History" all encompassing documentary playlists in their brains completely dwarfs those of your average Tal'Darim.
The Dark Templar, specifically those first few of them who also had the option to do that before severing themselves from the Khala, got nearly wiped out, predominantly in head to head engagements. In Talandar's quotes about Fenix, the guy manages to take out several Dark Templar Terrorists on his own. (Also possibly beats the shit out of some Yautja's.)
You shouldn't underestimate a unity just because it is at the bottom of a tech tree in a game. Their training, ability to obtain experience from other warriors and traits of their species make the Khalai Zealot by far the most elite form of infantry unit that can also undertake various other roles in the StarCraft verse, second only to a literal Mechanical Murder Machine version of himself.
I'd like to say that a Yautja/Predator would win because they toy with their prey and are sadistic bastards like myself
@@joenuts8312 It would depend on individuals' experience on either side. Due to my lack of knowledge on the Sangheli I am inclined to say that the Predator is far more advantaged against them, but against the Protoss and the Eldar the Yaujta would be disadvantage, due to those two species' superior ability to close distances, melee skill and equipment and the fact that said two species are also psychic in nature, which would greatly reduce the stealth skill of the Predator. But as I explained above it is not a comple stomp. An experienced and well equiped enough hunter would have a pretty good chance of coming out on top.
I would've chucked in Vorcha from Mass Effect as well, but that's a personal minor nitpick: interesting video choice though! :)
If we’re talking about Mass Effect cannon fodder, we can’t forget the basic Geth forms, after all, they are literally bodies that can be thrown at the enemy with the mind being brought back in the network.
Or basic Husks.
I love finding old videos I missed or have forgotten!
I think the warrior drone from Starship Troopers is also a good example. Excellent at swarming tactics, but the individual drones are still somewhat durable. As Carl says, shoot off a limb and it's still 83% combat effective. This means you either have to aim more carefully, or expend a lot more ammo just to kill one. We see in the movie that individual drones often take a lot of ammunition just to bring down. Like the zergling it manages to be cheap cannon fodder that is still quite effective, both individually and in great numbers.

On the one hand, the sheer numbers that Zergling swarms come in is impressive. But on the other hand, their lack of ranged capabilities put them at a disadvantage compared to the other cannon fodder troops. Not to mention that good AoE (Siege Tanks and Psi Storms spring to mind) can juice down a swarm of Zerglings faster than a BlendTec Total Blender. (Yes! It blends!)
Zerg vs the Flood
Zerg vs Flood vs Tyrannid free-for-all
Regardless of which one is the last standing; the Zerg wins. Since all three sides are all about assimilation and the Zerg's goal is to be as genetically *perfect* as they can, then they basically serve their purpose by either being assimiliated to a higher swarm or by assimilating the other two.
Though regardless, the whole galaxy/universe is fucked if you have something that has the best traits of all three

i love when you do Halo, StarWars and most of all StarCraft! alot of the others like 40K or battlestar I don't know very well
Yeah, you gotta leave 40k out of this kind of comparison. Why? Because 40K would always win.
Tyranids has hormagaunts and termagaunts. The Imperial Guard has the guardsmen. The Gods of Chaos have daemons that CANNOT BE KILLED, only banished temporarily back into the Warp. Da Orkz have da boyz with der choppas and shootahs. The only armies that lack real cannon fodder are the Eldar (being an endangered species due to having created the Chaos God Slaanesh), the Tau because they are still a relatively young species, and the Space Marines because they're all demi-god-like super soldiers who aren't cannon fodder because they are the cannons and their enemies are the fodder.
You have to leave them out because the writing is shit. The Nids win, why? Because they do, neener neener. I'll think of a reason later.
Lmao, god I hate 40k fanboys, and I myself am a 40k fan. Warhammer 40k is a high-mid tier sci-fi setting, and get’s its shit pushed in by a lot of other sci-fi settings.
But fanboys like to act like it’s the most powerful thing ever to exist.
Or could it be 40K fans are furious when Eck isn't a devoted 40K fan and doesn't learn every single lore there is out there when he uses them for his fractions compared to video.
And when he makes them and he doesn't place them on top, 40K fans are once again furious at Eck's lack of professionalism at a lack of knowledge for a casual video. He as a heretic should be burned alongside with every other sci-fi fractions because they didn't have the same level of power and lore development.
Look Eck obviously isn't as devoted to the Warhammer 40K franchise as he is to StarWars and Halo, but flooding his vids when you don't get the results you wanted is just childish.
@@iamdream2562 "The most powerful thing ever to exist"
Uh.... you know it's all make believe, right?
It's a table top game and series of novels created by people trying to make a living and that none of these 'universes' exist beyond our own imaginations. Sorry if I blew your fanatical (and impaired) mind.
Sigh... I love checking the comment sections of sci-fi stuff on CZcams. Always so civilized and intelligent.
Eck do a video on the starships of Elite Dangerous please. People love the idea.
Attempt #39
It would be interesting to see a video where you combine the best of the best of all these videos and theorize how they might be contrived to work together
I’m glad you did the Zerg, can you do a Zerg vs any race other than Terran or protoss
Finally 40K can win at something.
Edit: Y U DO THIS TO ME?
I've never seen Starcraft take a W in one of these. God Bless.
You really need to make a vid about the Protoss, they have have some of the most badass looking warriors this side of the sector.
Also many people underestimate the power of a good fighter squadron, the Clones and Rebels showed how deadly fighters can be against capital ships.
I gotta know, is that your dog at the end of the video, because he/she is ADORABLE
CONSCRIPTS ARE SUPERIOR
You all now see how the Soviet Union won WWII
AFFIX BAYONETS THE EMPEROR PROTECTS
Kermit The Hermit the emperor is gae
Chaos Insurgent i smell some smoked heretic from exterminatus here
AuNSHiVA Gibbons warhammer40k? more like warhammer40GAE
Yay starcraft gets a win
Glad to see Starcraft again! Would love to see more. Maybe lore videos?
I remember back when I first saw the different "personalities" in the battledroids in The Clone Wars and RotS, I personally had initially thought that it was some attempt of the CIS to try to make the droids a little more similar to the Clone Troopers and thus able to be a little more independent and able to better react to various situations rather than be restricted by only being able to act based on what is currently programmed into them.
With Episode I, the battledroids didn't even try to use any cover. They would literally stand out in the middle of the open corridors of Naboo's Palace while battling Padme and her guards. Or when it came to battling the Gungans, it took SO long before the shield generator was destroyed and forcing them to retreat from the tanks, and even then, it seemed more like it was just a stray shot that happened to take it out and not a deliberate act by any battledroids.
UNSC vs alliance from Mass Effect
UNSC, at least in their prime, versus just about ANY ME faction other than the Reapers is a pretty ugly curbstomp. Remember that a standard UNSC Cruiser (Halcyon or Marathon) is at least a kilometer long, making them equivalent to a DREADNOUGHT in ME terms, and the UNSC has hundreds, if not thousands of cruisers, not to mention dozens or even hundreds of carriers and battleships that are even bigger, not to mention that UNSC MAC guns are generally an order of magnitude more powerful than Mass Effect railguns. Throw in superior FTL capability and far superior electronic warfare (thanks to AI), and the UNSC could really take on ALL of the Citadel Powers at once and still have a good chance of winning.
the UNSC in most ways would annihilate the alliance, the only thing i think the alliance has over post-war UNSC is numbers, and Prewar, their ships are more agile. on the ground, its a fairly close fight, but i might actually give that to the alliance, based on personal shields being on all soldiers, not just some super soldiers(not all spartan 3s even had energy shielded armor).
in naval battles though, i see the UNSC ships as being able to take on the alliance ships in similar fashion to the Covenant ships taking on the UNSC fleets - if the alliance squeeks out a win, they lost way more ships than the UNSC, and won't hold that area long.
well the problem comes with ground vehicles too as a scorpion main battle tank pack a bigger punch then the mako and the you have the whole theyve been fighting shielded enemies for years so theyve learned to focus fire and use thing like shredder round that ware down shields faster. the only real advantage the alliance has is biotics and well their reaction times are good but Spartans are faster.
+Master Mickman,
"UNSC vs alliance from Mass Effect"
the Repears ship based guns (on the largest ship) does 64 kt, it is enough to 1 shot every single ME ship including dreadnoughts, the weakest ship based MAC the UNSC has on every single frigate does exactly 64 KT lmfao.
@@finaldarkfire lol not really the UNSC marines would be destroyed by alliance marine's. Better armor, all have personal shields, have a bunch of crazy tech and mechs. Biotics. Guns that fire at light speed *~* Alliance has 1000's of war ships, and fighters, a swarms of tridents would easily take out any of the UNSC ships except the infinity, but that could easily just be boarded and capture or destroyed or chipped down by hit and runs by ships dropping out of FTL then back into FTL before the UNSC reacts. @~@ even the Spartans would be outmatched, their shields wouldn't matter to anyone in the Mass effect universe, disruptor ammo, energy drain etc. The High tier marines have the Adrenaline implant to make their reaction time crazy. Biotics °~° we all saw chief get owned by the diadacts force grip, we've all seen Biotics grip lol and statis and all that jazz. *~* Besides a scorpion would be easily outmatched by a flying Hammerhead or even a mako since they have shields and are strong main cannon. and Alliance navy would be air striking any UNSC armor with tridents *~* Plus once again, techs powers and Biotics would probably be pretty effective against the unshielded scorpions. Then we can't forget about all the anti armor weapons and ammo the alliance has *~* or the Mini nuke launchers
#AskEck If you could reorganize the Imperial Navy to have a higher priority toward the Imperial Starfighter Corps, what fighters(space superiority fighters, bombers, and interceptors) as well as what capital carriers would you choose? What would a typical taskforce in Eckhart's Imperial Navy look like?
i love your videos they are all great!
Please do the entire Grand Army Of The Republic vs. The UNSC both universe full military power in a all out war. The Republic jedi leaders, the null class arc troopers, bad batch, 6 million-2 billion(depending on legends or not), clone commandos the entire Republic fleet against the UNSC marine core, ODSTs, all spartin programs, and UNSC fleets. I would like to really see this the clones who are breed for war vs the toughest marines humanity as to offer.
Haven't watched the video yet. It's zerglings. No question.
Could you review Boofire191's Earth in Star Wars series and see how accurate he was, or just your general thoughts?
love your vids
keep it up
Thanks for my suggestions Eckhart, although you didn't include Warhammer 40k's Guardsmen. Next, which sci-fi faction has the best Superweapon? Compare Star Wars' Death Star & Starkiller Base with Halo's Halo Rings, then with Warhammer 40k's Exterminatus & finally Doctor Who's Reality Bomb.
Star Wars have many superweapons - from DS-1 and DS-2 to Centerpoint station and (overly OP) Sun Crusher - also Exterminatus is an order that can be held in many ways - from ordinary orbital bombardment (SW equivalent - order Base Delta Zero; Halo - glassing) to mentioned in previous comment torpedoes

Wow great ideas
Sees Cannon Fodder in title. Clicks.
In my mind, cannon fodder is something meant to be expendable and easily replaced, something you can throw at the enemy and not care if you take huge losses. They are the expendable soldiers you send in to waste the enemy's ammo and set off traps before the real soldiers arrive. Basically a massive suicide squad. That's why I choose the B1. It's cheap, simple, and quick to build. You can theoretically build them faster than the enemy can destroy them.
Not theoretically. THEY DID BUILD THEM FASTER THAN THEY WERE DESTROYED!!
I love the idea of this video.
Can't wait for part 2.

#ASKECK Which sci-fi has the best mass production mechs: UN Spacey( SDF Macross) , Earth Federation( UC Gundam) , the Clans(Battletech) or BAHRAHM (Zone Of the Enders)?
@Jas Zho I said mass production anything bigger than a Baneblade is built by hand and is unique. So no imperial knights, no Titans and Tau battlesuits are cheating.
Inside their own universe? might have to give it to the clanners. There is after all still the saying "clan tech is best tech". Don't get me wrong I wouldn't put most anything in BattleTech up against anything of later Gundam stuff and unless you're converting the Fighters from Macross to LAMs in BattleTech I don't see the 'mechs holding up. I cannot comment on Zone of the Enders as I've not seen/done any research on it.
@@barrybend7189 the big Tau Battlesuits are not cheating anymore than Clan mechs. But I would agree that the common battlesuit is more akin to the clan elementals
@@SonsOfLorgar well all Tau Battlesuits are specialized there's no true MBM( Main Battle Mech) the clans at least have those.
@@barrybend7189 good point, the really big T'au battlesuits that came about to fight nid bio-titans when CAS was unavailiable are mostly experimental now that I think about it. You win this argument.
Btw, what's your favourite mech chassi/variant? (IS and SLDF designs included)
You have already mentioned Terrans and Zerg :D How about a Protoss next time? I bet I will net be the only one who would love to see more from SC universe.
I would love to see a factions compared on mortar cannons, I know it’s a weird subject, but the difference between how the UNSC used kodiaks vs the covenant with wraiths is pretty interesting.
You should do the yuuzhan vong from Star Wars versus the Swarm from Starcraft
If the Swarm get a hold of any of their bio tech they're basically screwed since by then they just use the enemies weapons against them unless the Yuuzhan vong has an ace in the hole
And that is🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
@@melikwalker296 I don't know maybe they can make something like a psionic disruptor powerful enough to destroy the Swarm, just guessing

From the book Knights of Talassar W40k:
My men should be out there.’ It was the Krieg captain’s voice again.
‘No. I’m holding back our infantry,’ said Lucien, ‘until the biggest guns have been disabled. Then they might stand a chance of actually making it across that killing field to the enemy. That applies to Imperial Guardsmen and Space Marines alike. Right now, there’s nothing they can do out there but die.’
There was the briefest of pauses before the captain said, tonelessly: ‘That is what the Death Korps of Krieg does best.’
Lucien wasn’t sure he had heard correctly; but then, the captain continued, ‘Each shell that a Korpsman intercepts is a shell that doesn’t hit one of your tanks - which in turn means the tank can keep on firing. I have many hundreds of men and they are easily replaceable. You have only a handful of tanks and we cannot afford to lose them.’
He couldn’t argue with that logic.

I loved playing through the Zerg campaign in Starcraft 2. Easily the most enjoyment I had in that game honestly. This kinda makes me want to replay it lol.
How about Starcraft's Zerg vs Grey Goo's grey goo?
I'd like to say the grey goo would win that 1 as the zerg are 100% bio, anything they shot at the goo would add the the mass. (Maybe psionics would be effective?)
@@jonathonspears7736 since when did goo absorb organic matter ? They only absorb catalyst, and only catalyst that are standing still because commandos can kill goo and commandos use bullets.
