Hello, I wouldn't recommend a screwdriver or fingernails to remove the caps. Carefully use the blade of a knife, or better yet, a nail file.

When I said fair opportunity I was referring to the turning not removing the caps. If the turning of a puzzle is good you can look past small things like the caps not coming off easily. Although I really think they should just design them to come off with your finger nail as most puzzles do
