A few years ago animal rights members broke into a wildlife park and let 5 cyotes out. 1 got hit by a car another was shot by a pet owner after it attacked his dog and the other 3 ran back in the enclosure
1: Tell them to leave 2: Tell them they are harassing you 3: Tell them you will call the cops 4: Call the ambulance before you beat the shit out of them. It will leave less work for you in disposing of the body and etc
If you shoot one and bury him in the woods, it's best to dig a hole at least 3 feet deep. A light coating of lime will help mask odor during decomposition. Just sayin'.
C Harrheel He may be hours away, and in a weekend there may be one on duty to cover several counties. I do support calling, just don’t expect him to get there quickly.
@@CharmsDad even so if you record your interaction with the harasser and make an appointment to meet up with the game warden later and file a criminal complaint most will do their best to bring the harasser to justice.
This is where hunters need to be proactive and meet with their local game warden even do a ride along with them. Building a 1st name relationship with your game warden will go a long way when you need them.
Alternatively, place them under citizens arrest. And when they resist, treat them as the police would a subject who resists. Just make sure to say “stop resisting” so that audio is captured on their camera equipment as you take the butt of your chosen hunting tool to them. Then simply drag them to your truck as you would a trophy animal.
You boys just ain't thinking. I would calmly get down, walk over and spray some wolf gland lure on Junior's boots. Then I would calmly say, Junior, that lure will have about 10 wolves at your feet in about 5 minutes and you didn't even bring a gun! How far is it back to your car? Now scoot along Junior and enjoy your little forest puppies :)
When you have been harassed THEN, & ONLY THEN can you speak about this because you have definitely not have had an altercation yet, wait till you do, then you will see the RIGHT way to deal with it, immediately call the game warden or the pathetic pigs to get rid of them
What you say sir is all well and good but when you travel many miles to hunt, took time off work, possibly spent quite a few dollars to be there and found your spot after many weekends of scouting, then these people show up, I will definitely give them a piece of my mind, then call the Warden.
Its never worth it to shoot someone over property. Its only lawful to shoot someone if they are threatening your life, your family's, or someone else's. Believe me, do not shoot someone over property, you will carry it with you for the rest of your life
I'm not a hunting fan, but that's me, I never imagined someone would interfere with someones right to hunt. America is losing it's way. instead of being free, people are getting this mindset to think you are free only if you agree with me. If you want to LEGALLY hunt, best of luck to you, I hope you get a 10 point dohicky thing that your trying to catch. If you are illegally doing it, and messing up the wildlife that's not cool. By the way like hunters or not, (which I have no problem with them, half my family hunts) we need hunters to help with population control. You are more likely to be killed in a crash with a deer, then being eaten by a shark.
We don't need hunters in wildlands or near wildlands, we need to bring the predators back, who had a right to live here. I'm all right with legal hunting too, as long as the animal wasn't made legally huntable for political reasons or due to ignorance, like the delisting of grizzly bears and wolves. Hunting predators is wrong and just a sign of someone's insecurity. Hunting for sustenance and raw materials is awesome and I wish it were more common.
+Marius011 And predators will need to have their numbers controlled so as not to eat themselves out of food sources. How to do that? With a higher level predator-Man
there is a slaughter house in my town that kills 500 hogs a week wouldn't your time be better spent at a place like that? or do you like your morning bacon to much?
My cousin and I went to a Wisconsin public hunting ground to see if we could bag a couple of pheasants, when we got there, we encountered some of these idiots, that were there looking to harass deer hunters, but deer season wasn't even open frustrated they turned their attention on us hoping they could catch one of us with our gun turned toward them so they could claim assault, they really got upset when we turned my cousins bird dog loose, screaming that we were forcing the dog to " betray his fellow creatures" they tried everything to distract the dog to no avail so they began to blow whistles, bang on pans, scream obscenities, and do anything they could think of to make general nuisances of themselves, thank heaven that a game warden showed up and arrested the lot of them, I also had a friend whose father owned a hunting club, one year he had the driveway paved right before the start of the season, the night before opening day someone spread a case of roofing nails in the drive apparently thinking that it was still gravel ( which would of made it hard to spot the nails, resulting in damage to hunters tires) when he went to open the gate that morning he found them, so he took a broom and a scoop shovel and swept them all up, the next spring when he went to reroof the barn, he didn't have to buy nails.
Well, I will just change the species that I am hunting from, say "deer" to "idiots who want to be the spirit guardian of my next fence post ". I'm just sayin...

I'm being harassed by anti-hunters local sheriff's department knows I'm legal and don't want to do anything about it I need help I'm concerned a nan Hunter is going to come by with a gun and shoot me what should I do

I’ve been called by many hunters who have found animals in need that were not the target of their hunt (fawns, opossums, squirrels, turtles, and the list goes on). The goal is not to prevent hunting but rather to reduce unnecessary suffering on the part of the animal. Responsible hunters know this and use appropriate weapons with the knock down power to quickly and reliably kill the animal, and will promptly and properly dispatch one that is down but not dead. I, on the other hand, work to prevent orphaned or injured animals from slowly starving to death, or suffering for days (or weeks) from a wound that gets infected and kills them slowly, or (in some cases) have the animal humanely euthanized (sometimes with a firearm when necessary) rather than die slowly and painfully when it can’t be saved. As I said, there is no conflict between responsible hunters and legitimate rehabilitators. It is the nuts and kooks on both sides that cause the problems. Whether it’s the guy wanting to “test his skill” by hunting deer out of season, with a .22, and no license or the PETA crazy trying to interfere with a legitimate hunt, they both represent extremes that are detrimental to proper management that is designed to ensure the health of wildlife populations.
