I Let Surprise Trade Decide The Pokemon For My Pokemon Violet Nuzlocke.
In this video I decided to let surprise trade decide my team for my hardcore nuzlocke of Pokemon Violet. This was a hardcore challenge run of Pokemon violet plus a nuzlocke and introducing the randomness of surprise trade made this challenge even more difficult.

The Reason why your Sucker Punch fail was cause Banette wasn’t targetting at your Loknix. Instead the Banette was focusing their attack on ur charizard.
Sucker Punch only work if you are the one whose getting targetted at.

IIRC, sucker punch fails if the target isn’t using an attack move, and sucker punch itself doesn’t count as an attack. So, regardless of speed, the sucker punch targeting a Pokémon using sucker punch will always fail.

Gallade absolutely carried this game for me, to the point where the post game gym repeats were all challenged with ONLY gallade (Except for Rhyme where the Gallade had a Corviknight with it to provide Tailwind and bulk to absorb hits towards the team)
Man gallade was like bad for me in the playthrough
A over level dragon nite carried me through the playthrough so my pokemon were like level 40 and he was level 55
I basically went to the coastline near medali, caught a overleveled Staraptor and then made him level 70 and cheesed every fight bar prof turo

In a 1 v 1, if a Rattata uses Quick Attack and Lokix uses Sucker Punch, lokix will hit first.
If both of em use Sucker punch, only the faster will hit
If u try sucker punch against fake out or extreme speed, u will be outspeed coz these moves are +4 and +2 (i'm not so sure bout e speed) so ur sucker fails
Here there's a 2 v 2 situation
Technically, lokix's sucker punch and banette's should have both hitted (coz banette's target was Zard and the other sucker punch will not create a situation in which the target already made a move, like it happens in 1 v 1 situation )
In this case, Lokix failed because his target already attacked
Idk how banette outspeed (coz turn 1 they don't give u speed boost, they only do it when u use tera) but sucker punch works like this lol

the reason why sucker punch didn't connect in the ghost gym was because nothing was trying to attack lokix. Everything on the field was attacking charizard, making the game think nothing was attacking lokix therefore sucker punch didn't connect

So sucker punch only counts as a attacking move after it does damage**
Here's the order of events
Faster user attacks, but the opponent hasn't done damage so it doesn't count as attacking**
Slower user attacks, the opponent has dealt damage so sucker punch lands
**This isn't confirmed, just my theory

Sucker punch fails because if u outspeed it doesnt work naturally if your pokemon is gonna attack first (using none priority) it fails sucker punch were as your opponent (slower) will work due to it being slower and its move priority going second instead of first

you should do a nuzlocke where you can only use pokemon u find in raid dens, no evolving and no over leveling. you can only go with the first raid den you enter in each area

I did a wonderlocke on Pokémon sword one time and I got THE LUCKIEST trades! I got a charmander, a dratini, a aerodactyl, and probably more. Also, none of them were too overleveled.
The game was so open world that Katy was my 8th gym battle rip her team vs a full team of 60+ 😂

At the fight with Iono you could just keep wigglytuff unterastilized so you were imune to hex,but if it had an electric type move then you were doomed i think(i didn't play the game)

As far as I'm aware, when a Pokemon Terastillises (I can't even tell if I spelled that right at the moment- totally sleep-deprived), they don't lose what resistances they had with their original typing, nor the STAB they would've had, even though they're now a single type. They gain STAB and extra bulk with their new typing though.
It's all benefit, as far as I know. However, when they Tera-up, it does increase damage output by something like 1.5x or some shit as a base output, not including STAB. Edit: I also think they lose what weaknesses they would've had as well, which should probably be obvious.
Don't quote me on all this as there has been different information floating around, but this is what I've gathered that I believe is correct.
The way I understand it is that they keep their STAB but lose defensive resistances of their original types

I feel the same for IONO but mismagius was brutal I sacrificed magnet my magnetite because it had levitate so my gabite had to switch but by luck when my copycat also died so this mismagius tried to confuse me but I was already confused and we won by damage
Going to the first gym trying to be close to her level is a pain, tried that and the bear hits like a truck.

24:56 the reason Banette's sucker punch worked is that it hit charizard, I presume your charizard attacked banette like last turn.
Sucker punch will only work if the TARGET is attacking the user, so as Lokix was not hit by banette, your sucker punch failed.

I think the reason your sucker punch didn’t work is because of the fact that I believe it will only work if your opponent is attacking you instead of a teammate but that’s just my understanding of the mechanics of Pokémon games
