  • It's been a quick minute but I'm finally able to put out some videos again. Still have to get more comfortable being in front of a camera but I guess that'll just take time.
    If you enjoyed the video, you might as well give it a like and subscribe, it goes a long way.
    Cheers, Anthony.

    Hey mate, not sure if you'll reply after 3 years but i just installed a similiar kit in my 02 navara. It lifted quite a bit in the rare, adjusted the torsion bars to lift the front but it still looks alot lower in front than i would have thought, compared to the rare. Bump stops are 10-15mm as you said

      I had to re-spline the torsion bars to lift up the front more. Should be a CZcams vid on it somewhere

    Good video, I'm also running 32s on mine but they scrape with anything less than a 3 inch suspension lift,,thats even with cutting the plastic out of the guards. I'll check out the hammer idea though.

      I cut of a lil bit of the mettal instead and when i did that i also cut out a pice of the mud guards therefore i could fit them as well

    Got a question for you mate. I see on the Fulcrum site they say you have to upgrade your torsion bars if you’ve got a steel bull bar. Did you ? Just curious. I just purchased a d22 single cab recently and the ride is horrendous !

    • @anthonyjamescatania
      @anthonyjamescatania  Před 10 měsíci +1

      You'll get a fair bit if you respline them, just depends how harsh of a ride you want. Think I kept 10-20mm off the bump stops when I adjusted mine

  • @cameronluangrath
    @cameronluangrath Před 3 lety +1

    Nice lift! I got the same car zd30 too but fronts only raised on torsions and back is not raised at all. 50mm difference in height and looking ugly on my Ute, you reckon just leaf springs with 45mm lift ?would go fine on the back alone without bushings and shocks ?
    Great vid

    Hey man, have you got anything weird happening with your steering since you’ve lifted it?

    • @intolerance9677
      @intolerance9677 Před 3 lety +1

      @@anthonyjamescatania I’ve got a 3” snake racing kit in and it’s been nothing but trouble since I got it.. I’ve replaced everything to do with the steering plus all ball joints and control arm bushes and my tie rods and draglink are clashing with my chassis and control arm mount and I’m getting a lot of independent steering movement between my front wheels whenever I lift one or when it extends .. I’ve attributed the independent movement to roll throughout the six ball joints and there’s nothing I can do about that but it’s not even driveable off road with the steering/chassis clearance issues.. was hoping you could shed some light but starting to think the d22 simply can’t run a 3 inch kit

    • @083sean
      @083sean Před 3 lety

      @@intolerance9677 I'm running a 3 inch lift and had to buy drag link designed for big lift. PSR make one for $250. The standard one won't last long at all and then you start having the problems you described.
      When I got the ute it looked like it was still running the original steering components with stock tyres, as soon as the lift and 32s went on it flogged out within a few drives.

    • @intolerance9677
      @intolerance9677 Před 3 lety +1

      @@083sean thanks man, you would have just solved my problem. I just put a psr drag link in a couple weeks ago but and it’s sweet as now, I was getting roll through the 6 ball joints in my steering. The psr drag link has swivel joints only allowing rotation.. I replaced every bush and joint also got the snake racing HD drag link but nothing solved my problem until the psr drag link.
