    Rachel, I'd like to let you know that although you're not aware, you've been very helpful for me in my whole process of applying for a study permit! I just got, yesterday, my approval decision and passport request from IRCC, and I can't be more happy! Your videos helped me understand the pathway that I should pursue in order to follow my Canadian dream! I'm a 42 year old capeverdean, living in Cape Verde and I went through all the process alone, but your videos helped me a lot!! Through them I understood that I should have a college diploma and Canadian work experience in order to increase my chances of getting an ITA. You gave me hope with your video explaining that you were enrolled in a one year program and, althought it wasn't easy, you still got your permanent residency! But next, I followed your advice and I chose to study a 2 year post degree diploma instead of a one year program, to have more time to build my CRS score before submitting my express entry profile. Your SOP and your tips helped me in writing my own study plan and although I'm above 40 I got my study permit application approved in my first attempt, in 9 weeks. I may move to Canada, Vancouver, in August to start my program in September this year in Vancouver Community College. I had to let you know that you played a very important role in this process! So, for that and for much more, thank you!! Keep doing this excellent work you are doing and you'll be somehow greatly recompensated! All my best wishes for you!!

    @7:43 says to stop working once final grades are received. I wasn't aware of that and thought I should stop working once I graduate and receive my transcript + completion letter. I don't know when my final grade was posted as we don't get notified by the university or professors. I'm guessing I worked for 5 days after my final grade was posted and before I was able to apply for the pgwp. Would that be a problem? Also, I'm doing 2 degrees at 2 universities and decided last minute to defer my admission to my 2nd degree until 2024 to gain work experience for the express entry. So I'm thinking if there's any trouble, I could say that I am a returning student in fall 2023, so that is why I was working and then I decided I'll defer it to 2024.

    Thank you for this wonderful video about how to apply for express entry. I’m considering CEC also after I graduate. But I have a question, for the requirements of applying to PR through CEC, what is a valid job offer? Is it the offer letter that the company sent you if you’re hired? Or do you need the LMIA? Thank you!

    • @kayonaldria
      @kayonaldria Před rokem

      LMIA is different from the Job Offer. Valid Job Offer is the Job Offer in a Eligible Teer/NOC.

      @kylealcala7137 Před rokem

      As per IRCC’s website, they only accept IELTS and CELPIP as proof of English proficiency. And TEF and TCF for French ♥️🤗
      Here’s the direct link as well for your vision! www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements/language-testing.html
      Hope it helps!

    I wonder why you didn’t mention the fact that IRCC have been asleep for a month now. People are losing statuses. They are ruining people’s life.

      Thank you for your input. Did you apply to the Express Entry program on your own or did you get help from an immigration lawyer or immigration consultant?

      @@rrdancel thank you for replying. i have a lawyer to guide through. Not much is needed since I already completed my education in Canada and im 1.5 years in. So technically I’m in the CEC. Only problem is IRCC has 0 communication. Alot of people are losing there statuses. They are giving promises to people outside canada while the ones that are already contributing to the economy, paying taxes, and working are just being ignored. Not sure what the reason behind this is.

    You are in Canada and not an Immigration Consultant or Lawyer and as such your are not legally allowed to give any immigration advice. I am going to report you to the authorities in Canada and everybody else who does that. There is too much false information available when it comes to immigration matters spread by wanna be advisers.
