I do not agree with the second part of the difference principle, the example part because as per Rawls inequality is okay if the worst off are most benefitted but in your example, they are benefitted but not most, in fact barely any improvement from 15k to 25 where as the proportion of increase was much higher for rich and hence it does not justify the difference principle.

Good question. Recently Trump gave tax cuts to some big businesses. Before he did this they claimed that they would use those tax cuts to give employees bonuses and raises, as well as use it for other things the company wanted. So, that would be a case where the CEO's end up getting more but in such a way the those at the bottom move into a better position at the same time.
