  • Lane and I met to discuss the recent opening of her restaurant Noodle Lane, but our conversation quickly took an unexpected turn.
I'm very appreciative of Lane's willingness to unearth and share her experiences with all of us so that we can better understand and empathize with people who have experienced severe bullying and harassment and hopefully prevent such attacks from happening in the future.
If you live in New York, check out Lane's recently opened restaurant 'Noodle Lane' in Park Slope. A restaurant that serves as a testament to her resilience and perseverance, as well as her passion for quality Asian cuisine.

It's heartbreaking to hear about the bullying she went through and felt she couldn't confide in anyone as a child. I'm glad she found the strength to fight back and learned how not to be afraid ❤.

Her story really touched me, don’t really know why. So cool that she shared, that she also shared her tears and the memory of her anger. Thank you.

You are really gifted in listening, it helps people to tell their stories in a way they feel heard and not judged. Thank you for providing space to people whom you interview, and by sharing it, giving us that space to process our own stories.

I went through exactly the same things growing up. The only thing I can't relate to is being in a non English household in a new country because I was born here and I still was severely bullied and suicidal at 10 years old. I feel awful for her, I fought back and physically too.

Hearing these real stories makes me so sad and I just feel like hugging everyone. A lot of hurt humans walking around, it’s overwhelmingly sad. Thanks for praying for her 🫂🫂🫂 Had me in tears and I resonated with a number of things she was saying and you’re right, she deserves a gold medal.

This is a VERY POWERFUL and EMPOWERING video. I highly admire this lady and respect her tremendously for sharing her traumas. I can relate to her in many ways. It is helpful to see and hear how others are dealing with and doing after living through so many negative life-altering experiences and memories. Thank you for sharing!

This woman makes you wish you could go back in time...with a lead pipe or a brick. The truth is ignorant people who bully only understand physical consequences. You can't talk or reason with them. I feel badly nobody helped her.

Most people are aholes because parents do not raise their children properly. It is very simple, keep to yourself and leave people alone. So many people feel the need to project their insecurities onto others.

What an amazing person. I feel so angry that she went through all of that and I hope she is doing as okay as she seems to be doing now.
Thanks for bringing us her story, Eric.
P.S.: I mean this only as a constructive suggestion - please ease up on the zooming in and out as I find it detracts from the amazing content you provide. Thank you.
