I LOVE the fact that you guys were eating pizza 🍕 in a ninja turtles pizza episode, that it's literally called Pizza Face and the villan of the week is literally a talking pizza 🍕 😂
I almost wish there was a Gravity Falls "Society of The Blind Eye" type explanation as to why the everyday people in this show can be so absent-minded, I know it's a cartoon and I love the goofy moments, but Antonio putting glowing sludge from a UFO in his mouth after undoubtedly being aware of the alien invasion from a few months earlier just doesn't match the typical level of common sense that characters in this show display lol. Would've made perfect sense if it was all in Mikey's head, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think the Kraang going around erasing their presence from people's minds would've made for a great plot and explanation for what otherwise is just written off as cartoon logic. The creators of the show clearly wanted the Kraang to lean pretty heavy into a men in black vibe anyway, so it wouldve been right in character for that too. I also love this epsiode, but I think it would've been better left without the goofy cliffhanger at the end. From what I remember, (very mild spoilers maybe?) a handful of season 2's monster-of-the-week episode endings that seemingly promise character returns are never followed up on, and while I don't recall if Pizza Face is one of those characters, I just don't think so explicitly adding him to that pile of "maybe they'll come back" characters was necessary, especially since Mikey waking up in his bed after being knocked out was a solid yet ambiguous enough implication of Pizza Face being undefeated anyway.
I think it’s one of those episodes that are strictly for fun despite the very dark angle of it when you think about it but anyways they probably left that open ended cause they know how fans love to do those theory’s on shows lol like did it happen or was it all a dream just a little fun for the audience’s and kids watching.
