luck it’s actually true it’s called negative conditioning/negative reinforcement basically when they get the treat it tells the animal that they are doing something right so they keep doing that over and over and listen bc they know they will get a treat

Great way to keep that gravel from washing away is depending on the area which it looks about like a 50 foot area, spread about 10-12 bags of concrete throughout the area and let it settle for about 18 hours before driving on it
For Lucy, I would recommend getting a vest. With a vest, you only put it on her when you train her and when you take her bird hunting. With a vest, dogs learn when it’s time to be “in the zone” and when they aren’t tasked with retrieving when the vest is off.

When teaching lucy to fetch the easiest way is to use a long leash to teach her how to come to you and treats to reward her when she brings it back. Eventually you can do away with the leash and just do treats. Thats how i trained my dog to fetch and bring it back to me.

In relation to your pup, you were right in your past video where you said it’s probably best to train her when she isn’t with the other dogs. I think she wants to work for you, she is just too distracted wanting to play. You seem really patient tho so I think everything will be just fine 😎
