That was a depressing final
About 8 minutes from start to finish
-Does not discards and redraws his shitty hand with artifact
-Does not make opponents chumpblocker be not allowed to block this turn with cartouche
-Does not leave own blocker
but yeah, was just unlucky

Because his opponents always feel sorry for him and help him play the game, giving him a heavy advantage and distracting his opponents from the game.

I feel like there should've been multiple games for each round, so that luck was less of a factor (And so that we get more videos!)

If your doing tournament style games I recommend best of 3 style it eliminates at least some of the luck of the draw bias for single elimination look forward to you guys continuing with Magic for hour of devastation. Also while I appreciate the editor changing the numbers it did make it a tad confusing when the pathmaker initiate appeared as a 3/2 with the enchantment on it perhaps highlighting positive changes in green and negative changes in red or even better displaying counters on the cards as counters are very relevant for some cards particularly in this set with brick counters and -1/-1 counters
I really enjoy these videos. It would be fun to see a bigger tournament (8 people to start maybe?), and maybe with some type of prize for the winner so that people are a little more motivated to play well?

All of Duncan's turns sound like an ASMR
If a creature is a 3/2... and gets a +1/+1 from one card, and another +3/+3 from another, the 3/2 would become a 7/6. The -1/-1 would not take effect during that turn as you already passed your upkeep turn and would become active during your next turn. How was that math missed?

A fairer tournament would have had a second stage with the winners of the first stage and the loosers fighting each other respectively. Then the winners of those go into the finals. That way everyone gets to play against everyone.

Speaks to the luck of the draw I suppose, or maybe I'm just underestimating them because of their own estimates of themselves being the worst.

That was quick. Poor Sjin.
So when the cartouche came in he could make a creature unable to block, did he forget this or did he make it the manticore and they edited it out? Because if had chossen the 0/1 it would have forced the guy to take the damage or lose his strong creature rather than the choice of take six damage or lose a 0/1. Either way it would have been a win for Sjin, they trade creatures but his creature would be getting smaller and smaller every turn, so, worth it to take out the maticore, or his opponent takes six to the face. Big misplay if you ask me, followed by him then attacking when he should have kept it back to block, sometimes you lose because your deck just doesn't come through, sometimes it's because of how you play your deck, there's no guarantee he would have won had be been smarter (that cerodon would have been a problem, but it wasn't out when he made his first mistake) but he would have had a chance.
They should have made it best-of-three ...

Lewis lost due to luck, but I feel like Duncan definitely earned his victory. In a format like this, sometimes the worse player can win because they make a simpler deck that is more reliable, and I feel like that's what happened with Duncan.

This is why magic kind if sucks you should put land in a separate deck and choose to draw from it or the main deck to help avoid this kind of stuff
No, this is a part of the game: building a deck with the right mix of lands, creatures, and instants/sorceries. I don't think the losing player (don't want to give away spoilers) included enough creatures in his deck.
Also, in professional Magic, usually best out of 3 in case of bad hands, and so the Magic players can adapt their strategies to their opponent's deck.
Saw that it's only 11 minutes, Got disappointed . come on guys you could have played a few times and picked the best game!
Problem is it's a finals game so if you played a few times it wouldn't be fair to the other that lost if he won first or so

The Flameblade Adept was a 1/2. The interface only shows 0/1 because the editors are updating the values with the counters taken into account.
