Description: This is a re-edit of Negans entrance into the sanctuary. The scene was very good, the point of this edit was not to improve a sucky scene, don't mistake my intent. However I felt it would be interesting to see into Negan's mind and see him remembering these scenes. So I decided to make this for ya all!

Daryl may not be an X & O type of leader, but he has very good instincts. People responds & listens to him when he talks or makes moves.
I can only imagine how hard this must of felt for Negan, having to accept that everything he once built is gone, and that the Sanctuary and the Saviors are no more.
Ikr? He built this up. And having to accept it's all gone after 6 years of waiting. You could see the hurt on his face from the scene I used for the thumbnail, he felt the pain and sorrow of his home being gone.

I love how he whistles and whistles, but nobody responds. I love the overlaying images and voices. When he recognizes one of his Saviors as a walker, and kinda just stares at him. Amazing scene.

The deafening silence makes you concentrate solely on Negan and his emotions. The silence makes it much clearer to hear the music and it’s impact on the scene.

I like him in certain points! When he's written well I agree with you 100%. I didn't like how they fucked up some of his dialogue in season 7/8 tho. But in season 7 episode 1 and season 9 he's done wonders

Same here man, I'm 28 and drove around my old neighborhood fifteen years later and most of the houses tore down. Most of my friends died by either drugs or drinking and driving. If they listened me they'd still be around. Negan reflects on my life.

Negan definitely deserved this. This way, he can see, it wasn't loyalty his people showed, it was fear. They were scared of him, and now that someone else promised them a better future, they'd much rather follow someone through loyalty than fear. This is what made this so powerful. He expected there to still be those loyal to him. Only to find they left him and not even a pinch of a remnant. Negan finally sees what he did wrong and thus decides to go back. At least with Judith, he has something to live for.
I couldn't have put it better myself. By being a tyrant, Negan automatically assumed a short term leadership. Sometimes ya have to be brutal, but being that way to your own people will screw you over.

The way Negan reacted to one of his fellow saviors who was a walker felt sad. The way he said “Loyal to the end” felt heartbreaking showing that everything he build is gone and what remains are his fellow infected saviors who died during all our war.

Android Soundtracks it wasn’t pointless it showed us what happened after he murdered his own ppl. He got abandoned by Martinez and Shumphert and then he wandered, found lily, Tara and Megan then reunited w/ Martinez and learned that Shumphert died and then he kills Martinez and Pete then returns to attack Rick and CO, kills Hershel and then dies . I actually enjoyed that two Sunday break from Rick and CO so it was a gr8 back story IMO.
@Chaos Undivided Rick had reasons to kill some where better excuses then others but Rick never just out right tortured and murdered anyone like negan just to prove a point etc he was running a horrible camp. just face it , you like the "bad mystery guys that still has a heart " type of characters.

This was soo professional as any other project of yours I'm once again blown away by how amazingly this was put in place, every scene matched perfectly with the recent scenes of Negan. I feel that this was the moment that he truly repented and was remorseful for what he had done. The waves of realisations and guilt that came upon him was the real punishment and also what set him free psychologically

It was basically a reality check for him like sure, his system sort of work for quite a while, but just like the Roman Empire, it will one day fall. He now questions himself if what he did that led him up all to that point was really right.

The Warleader Productions It’s real fun to play since the Tekken series are known for its best fighting elements since the ages of retro arcade cabinets. (: Anyway, what made 7 the most interesting out of all is the fact Namco is creating a crossover in bringing characters from other sources and into the world of Tekken for some ass-kicking. You got Akuma from the Street Fighter series, you got Geese Howard from both the Fatal Fury series and King of Fighters series, and out of the blue, you got both Noctis from Final Fantasy XV and Negan from The Walking Dead. Of course, people complain that Negan’s only fitting in Mortal Kombat, but however, using him in the game is just smooth and Walking Dead memorable with some of his moves. What makes it better is seeing him fight other characters from sources than just Tekken characters. You got the leader of the Saviors colonies against Gouken’s young brother who is cursed with dark arts of fighting, a fighter who is a big crime boss in the world of Fatal Fury, and a sword user that is both a prince and protector of the kingdom of Lucis. This right here is an amazing crossover feeling. (:

Honestly the Judith relationship I'm iffy on. Seems a bit forced imo. Idk, it probably has to do with the fact that I REALLY don't like Judith at all lol

In the comics he's extremely close with Judith like a another father figure or a uncle, infact he becomes friends with Rick and they become extremely close, he even says to Rick, thanks for making me a better person. Rick goes it was for Ur own good locking u up and showing u what we wanted, he replies no, not that, I couldnt care less about being locked up, Ur daughter showed me there is still love in this world and u allowed her to be near me, if it wasn't for her I would have still tried killing u because I had nothing to lose. It was through his daughter rick and negan become friends and daryl takes a back seat and the comic becomes a rick and negan duo with daryl sometimes popping up. There are moments where negan saves rick multiple times and jokes about it saying how was it u took my entire army down and my defenses yet Ur always about to die, and I have to save u, he even kills alpha for Rick and brings back her head. There's a moment where negan is trapped and rick shows up and stands there thinking how did negan get stuck, negan just says how in the world did u take me down yet can't save me from a bunch of walkers u might as well make urself at home 🤣. There are tons of funny liners with negan and rick, Maggie eventually forgives him in the comics. Then one day he just ups and leaves and as he is walking away there is a speech bubble around his head showing his thoughts. It says, rick u always putting urself in danger I can't watch u die and see Ur daughter be raised without a father. He just up and leaves never to be seen again, And even till now the writers have not brought him back he just ups and leaves in the comics.

I always love when characters return to a place we've seen before and especially if it holds a special meaning to them. It's good to see and remember what happened to this place, to know it's history and especially it's fun when you see it change into what it is in the present.
Nevertheless, Negan is really a guy you want to help despite the horror they committed. It is clear that Negan is a person with feelings who does not seek war.
People can say about they want about Negan as a character...but I think he is a great one, and I love how he is portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan who is an awesome actor!

The moment Negan showed up on season 7 with a bang, I immediately fell in love with him and his character. He was just so charming for me. Hes so badass that I look up to him. I really hope AMC wont fuck up his character in the tv series because his comic counterpart was foegotten after the whisperer arc
It affirms that Negan truly thought of himself as necessary for society, that he alone would pay the price of being chief charismatic asshole required to make it happen. Watching him reflect on that is quite deep. What an interesting character.
This scene was classic Negan.
I hope we see alot more of him in season 10. Keeping him behind bars is a waste of talent.

Honestly considering that Rick is no longer on the show, a Negan spin off might not be necessary. He's probably gonna get alot more focus since he's one of the main lead characters now.
@@TheWarleader True but I meant a backstory. Kirkman affirms that if we had been following Negan since the beginning instead of Rick we would have sided with Negan during the war. I want a short spin-off that ends with Negan about to come out of the RV and Simon says "Alrigth, let's meet the man".

In the Comic he escapes prisons, finds the whisperers who had no idea he was from alexandria, kills alpha and presents her head to Rick. Unfortunately rick had to fuck it up by sending a search party after Negan which made the Whisperers think Rick had sent him and in retaliation launched their massive army of walkers towards Alexandria. Negan helped out a shit ton to clear the place out and even saved Ricks life a couple times.
Be pretty epic if that happened in the show.

Negan probably thought he would never lose the kingdom he built. Until Rick and the group showed up and destroyed it all. Negan underestimated Rick. Maybe he thought he would never see someone equal to him. But when Rick came it was Negans ultimate test and he failed miserable. Negan tried to control Rick but he couldn't you can't keep control forever. Sooner or later someone else will eventually bethrone you. It's inevitable.

He actually would've beaten Rick with his plan. But he got betrayed and thus blindsided into losing.

the weird thing is as well, at first in the apocalypse people were scared to leave their camp, and now its been so long, the walkers are pretty much harmless. you could cover yourself in guts and be fine cos even if they smell you, they move at crawling pace. no danger in just wandering out in the open anymore. and by this point, everyone who used to have to fight are dead, so its just a few people walking around the now harmless world looking at what it used to be. pretty depressing tbh.

I’m from a small rural town and my childhood home is in a spot where I can easily walk around and behind it without being seen. I still to this day when I’m back in town will go there and walk around a little and reminisce abound playing around there as a child and think about life before everything went wrong.

Interesting fact: The wooded area behind Negan as he walks up to the sanctuary at the beginning of the video is the prison yard from season three and four. The sanctuary and prison sets are literally around the corner from each other.

This is how I feel when I walk through my childhood area where I grew up, the people I once knew no longer there & a lot of abandoned buildings that were once full of life.
I think it'll be cool if Negan took over as leader of the group with Rick gone and one day Rick comes back and Negan respectfully hands the keys back to Rick as the rightful leader, confirming Negan's transformation and loyalty to the group.
Is it just me or does the scene where negan sets up the furniture seems like a way for him trying to rebuild himself
After 7 years he still was able to identify one of his men, that tells you a lot about the type of leader he was

Negan is “bad” but he really is just a softie inside.
That is Negan as a character he has the strong facade that makes it seem as if he is unbreakable and always happy but inside is a guy who misses Lucille and he isn't the person he pretends to be. As soon as he lost he broke in front of Maggie he couldn't keep up his ruthless facade anymore.

Negan definitely realized things are different than they used to be, his home is gone. I'm surprised he didn't go looking for lucille tho. Still, the world he was building up is gone. Now all he has left is that prison cell.

Negan reminds me of Suleiman the Magnificent, a proud, caring, but murderous emperor of a great expansive empire, killing those who even tried his patience, angering himself over things, pushing further into the future, changing his civilization to the top and beyond. Killing his friends and family who he believed could be threats to his reign, but in the end, watched his empire fall, watched it slowly deteriorate into what it was before him, watching his progress die.
