Rhett looks like a side character in a movie where the only scene you see him in is that one bar scene where the protagonist walks into a bar and there we find Rhett having a couple drinks with his pals causing a ruckus and the protagonist decides to intervene cause a massive bar fight that ends with him in jail but it’s a good character building moment and shows u that the protagonist is a good but short tempered person. Hardly anyone. I don’t know a single person who hasn’t had a bagel. I have it pretty much everyday because it is so easy to make.

They really weren't a thing in the South until relatively recently, like the past couple decades. Since Link grew up in a very small town in rural NC, it actually makes sense he wouldn't be as familiar with bagels.

Bagels being foreign is such a wild concept to me. I grew up eating them for breakfast, lunch, snacks, whatever. Butter, cream cheese, jelly, whatever you want to put on them. They’re delicious. Even now living in the south I still buy a bag every week.
