- My 2001 Cummins. Picking up my uncles trailer so I could go get a little bus. Mods are as follows
-AFE Intake
-4" downpipe to 5" exhaust to 6" stacks
-285's and wheel spacers in the back
-Air Dog Fuel System
-Edge CTS w/Juice Module
-Transmission rebuilt by me. Goerend rebuild kit/DPC Reman Single disc converter/Billet Input & Laminated Flexplate
Running on level 2(tow) on the Edge
Very nice truck, nice to see every cummins doesn't smoke like a freight train. Lol
Thanks! I also like that its not obnoxiously smokey. It will smoke some on level 4 & 5 as the turbo is spooling up, but is very clean running aside from that. Levels 1-3 are almost smoke free unless you just stand on it from a stop.
Yep hate how diesels smoke like a freight train now and how it's a cool thing my 7.3 won't smoke a bit! With the right tune they make more power
they don't smoke stock. People dump fuel in the tunes they do to get them to "roll coal"
colin orleans the edge tunes run very clean, I have one, you can adjust the “low boost fueling” to make it smoke but it isn’t necessary.
@@CumminsDriver your dodge 12 valve Cummins is like a kenworth w900 semi truck with exhaust stacks 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
nice to see you've done something with an automatic. I have a 97 12 valve with an aftermarket suncoast trans and lockup torque converter. pulls like a beast. nice truck
Thanks! I've been running my 94 12 valve auto for 15 years now, and I've had this one I guess around 3 years now. Both transmissions are upgraded but I know how to drive them and they have treated me well.
Beautiful Truck, Those stacks sound awesome.
Thank you!
Still one of the cooler Cummins hauling vids on the CZcams. Super awesome setup! I'm trying to get mine hotshot worthy again.
Thanks, I appreciate it! Good luck getting yours back in shape, they're good old trucks
I love your truck
Thanks! Im pretty fond of it myself! haha
transmission sounds firm and healthy, nice truck man.
Thanks, i appreciate it!
Where can I get stacks like that. Best lookin stacks I've ever seen istg
cool there were times I thought this was the best video I have seen in a long time lol
Bad ass setup!!
Thanks!
I see u r a Kentucky boy. I am myself. Muhlenberg co. I moved to SC 2 years ago for my job but I love ur truck. sounds great
Thanks, I appreciate it! Yep, lived here all my life and don't reckon ill ever move away. Id like to visit some different places but Ky will always be home. Thanks for watching!

I grew up in Wartrace Tennessee right out side of Shelbyville Tennessee on Union Ridge rd we also lived in Estill Springs right out side of Tullahoma Tennessee on Ake st next to Tinsley Asphalt my dad ran Tinsley Asphalt for years my Dad has been in the Asphalt business over 40+ years
tilt your tailgate up slightly and you can slip your trailer light connector through it.
Best way to do it is to run the cable over the tailgate and take out all the slack, and secure it down directly behind the gooseneck ball. That way when you turn it wont drag across the top.of the bed and rip your plug out. All the articulation happens right there within a 1 foot radius.
transmission sounds great, nice job on the build
Thanks you sir, I appreciate that.
Think I have the same led tail lights but in black, missing the same leds haha
Ja! I have the same burnt out LED row on the tail light in my 3500
awesome video man
Thanks!
I’m in Kentucky as well! Hi how are ya from south central ky!
Surprised you didn't have the tow mirrors flipped up.
bad ass rig!!
Thanks!
I'm a Kentucky boy also, born and raised in Daviess county. Such a nice lookin truck, sounds nice and healthy too. I like the way those stacks look on the one tons. Pulls like there's nothing behind it.
Thanks, i appreciate it!
good lookin truck.
Thanks!
I have a single wheel five speed with 600hp without the tune on it it has black leather and rubber floors everywhere I go people are loving on it I’m talking anyone from a cowboy to gang bangers it’s really quite funny the variety of people who like it I’ve had people ask to go for rides in it complete strangers and I do lol
Awesome truck man. I don't think your to far from me I'm in the south central ky area not far from bowling green
I have a place in breeding Kentucky over in adire county
I live on one of the roads you went down
nice truck
Thanks!
What headache rack are you using?
It was on the truck when I bought it and I have no idea what brand it is. Sorry Im not more help. lol
How do you get the lights in the headache rack to work with the brakes and blinkers?
i imagine youd splice into them under the bed somewhere
@@dirtydiesel8998 thanks
Whats the gearing ratio in it?
It has 3:54 gears
@@CumminsDriver That seems like somewhat high gearing for hauling. I would have expected 4.10 gears, but you know what you're doing and it seems to pull pretty well
@@flyingace5057 4:10’s are no doubt the better option for towing but the 3:54’s are decent. A 3:73 would have been a nice middle ground but they never offered it in a 2nd gen dodge.
Or rather A straight pipe. 😂
Where is this at if i may ask
That truck doesn’t sound right, with an automatic, it just sounds like a tractor with a power shift, and straight pipes. 😖
Fucker sounds badass sounds like a semi
Idling a little high, but gorgeous truck! My dream truck with the burgundy
Any lift in truck?
It doesn't have any lift, but it does have larger than factory tires on it
.
Is it for sale
12 valve or 24?
Anything after the 1998.5 is 24v
Is this in Danville KY?
What county you from?
Payton vietnam
I know where that's at. Hopkinsville area
If only it were manual
I cant seem to buy a manual anything, but the auto works pretty well so i've been happy with it so far.
I have owned several automatic Cummins and run lock up switches to put the power to the ground like a manual transmission. I have a momentary pedal on the floor and a toggle switch in the dash. It works awesome if you don't get abusive.
The trailers empty? Iv done that with my gasser truck lol.
lol no shit. just another pos cummins shipping container. ill stick to my 7.5 big block >:P
Like i literally towed a 32’ goose home behind my 7.4 and could barely tell it was there. Idk what this is supposed to prove. i love the cummins i have now over the gasser. But until its loaded over 15k why bother taking a camera out. Anything less is gasser truck range.
@@choking0smurf yeah my 7.3 ps pulled a gooseneck and backhoe its whole life lol still runs great @ 200k on the odometer
Whats funny is you guys beating your chest acting like i posted this video to prove something. lol It was simply me taking some video of my truck.
CumminsDriver635 Noones beating their chests. Just confused why the video exists at all lol.
