Perfect for the intermediate level, either during Christmas or not, these ballet exercises are great for anyone who want to improve pointe strength, technique, coordination, and stability. Advanced dancers are encouraged to do this barre as well. Going back to basics is always a good idea!

I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.

i broke my ankle a few weeks ago and i haven’t been able to dance. i started floor barre on tuesday which is a step to dancing again but it’s really not the same. i’m been off pointe for a while, and will probably be off for a little bit after i return. luckily for us summer holidays are coming up in a few weeks, so i have 6 weeks of holidays to go back to basics and focus on my technique. right now i’m stocking up on ballet barres to do during that time haha, obviously i won’t be doing pointe, but i could do this one on demi pointe for strength.
I can’t wait to take this pointe class... just in time for the holidays 😊🎄🎊

Yay! I don’t even do pointe but I LOVE playing these and just watching and listening to the tips you give here and there. I learn so much from watching barres and taking mental notes. It’s a bonus that I always love the music you choose too! Thank you!!!🧡🧡🧡

Been here since the introduction on death on relevés and I have to say, you can really see the improvement on this one. Back then I was death gripping the bar, couldn´t even finish the whole class. Today I had placed my hands lightly and gripped (not death gripped, but grippped nontheless) only on the one legged toes up. Felt great. I also love how you always come up with original combos! The jump preparation and the adagio are faves now! Also, the ronde de jambes were... Interesting. Great class!

The only thing I didn't do was the releve arabesques because I haven't done pointe in awhile I am slowly getting back into pointe. Loved this it felt great!!

I'm not really a ballet dancer and I'm not able to do pointe work anymore thanks to an injury I have but I just did this class in my LaDuca heels and it was incredible. I always love your classes: they're brilliant for getting me to actually incorporate any ballet into my day and they're so motivating.

Pointe is always my favourite dance and tricky to do, but you make it looks like a nature. Not to to mention you knew when I was hunching up at the barre. My calf’s are still sore and toes burning from this pointe bare class, but definitely made my holiday 🎄🎁 and now wanting me to get back into dance shaper! Plus, this has to be the most amazing online ballet/dance class I ever took online. I actually felt like I was there as you knew what I was doing. The corrections and everything!
