    This is an elaborate but effective workaround for the fact that PowerPoint does not allow one to change the number of swivels in the swivel animation. (You need half a swivel.) Only the speed of swivel can be changed. One would have thought that the spin animation would work on a rotated object, but PowerPoint always spins in the view facing you no matter what the rotation and always in a clockwise direction. (The letter O is written clockwise and that is also how letters are circled - that is perhaps a minor thing, but I would prefer to circle letters anti-clockwise.) Well done for figuring this out. Regretably, I don't think this will work with a trigger on multiple cards on the same slide, so the best work around for flipping multiple cards on selection of a given card is to stack two cards with an exit wipe on the top card triggered by the top card followed by an entrance wipe of the top card triggered by the bottom card. Unless you know better!

    I noticed that when a photo is flipped 180⁰ the image changes to darker, muddier tones, which for me can ruin the visual. Is there a way to prevent PPT from dulling the image?

    I tried to follow your tutorial, but when I add the 3D rotation to the second object, the transition ends up swapping the "back" pictures (so the green flower on the left becomes the back of the middle box and the Bird of Paradise becomes the back of the first box). It is almost like it is trying to rotate both around a central axis instead of each box on it's own 180 degree axis. Any suggestions on why?

    • @PresentationProcess
      @PresentationProcess  Před 4 lety +1

      For this particular tutorial, it doesn't make much of a difference whether you add a perspective or not. But, for some 3D shapes created at an angle, it does make a difference. Just to be safe, I included that as a part of the process.
