    Do you think Versys 650 justifies it’s price tag?

    • @coderide
      @coderide Před 3 lety +4

      Definitely it doesn’t
      Kawasaki is so ignorant that they haven’t updated anything in Versys from many years
      They are using same engine as ninja ( just tweaked a little) they are just increasing the price
      No led headlights
      No electronics except abs
      No traction control
      No charging point
      No riding mode
      List goes on & on
      They are not at all focusing on Versys 650
      That bike doesn’t deserve the current price tag

    The stock headlight and tyres are bad... But for the price...she needs much more ... a usb charging socket.... Led headlight...a better instrument cluster... Slightly less weight and the obvious slip and assist clutch... Also the gearing needs to be tweaked a bit. As this is same like the previous ninja 650... 6th gear could have been taller.. so relaxed riding is possible

    Excellent review. How would you compare Versys 650 to Tiger 850 in terms of riding comfort, ease of handling and city riding ?

    I don't think it has an assist & slipper clutch (contrary to the video), unless this is new for 2021 or specific to the Indian market...

      Mine is 2020 and there's no assist and slipper clutch system. Maybe like you said, it's a 2021 feature.

      kawasaki is so ignorant about versys lovers that they didn't even thought of giving updated instrument cluster, no riding modes, no LED headlamps it's like 5 years old model in bs6 engine, pathatic.

      @@coderide At least traction control and switchable ABS. Everything else could've been excused in the name of cost cutting.

      @coderide Před 3 lety +2

      @@Bladecelot so true, I want to buy Versys but I’m not buying because it’s 2015 model with 2021 prices.
      When they can give digital instrument cluster in ninja and z series, whats the problem in updating the versys.

    Versys 1000 better I think

    • @sirikulsomsuwan

      Not better, heavier, higher, uses more fuel. It’s not much faster only when going over 160 kph. So I’d buy the 650

    • @sebbwebbo7557
      @sebbwebbo7557 Před 3 lety +2

      @@sirikulsomsuwan It's faster, more comfy, more electronics, better lights, etc. I've never seen a V650 0-100 kph in 3.9 sec in reality. The 650 needs around 5 sec. to 100.
      The 1000 is way "better". But the 650 is a great bike and makes a lot of fun :) I know that..I own one ;)
