I love the attention to detail: when Mark hid from Ann at first, some text appeared above her head that read "Why are you hiding from me?" It's really cool that there was a mechanic for Ann to recognize that!

No it hasn't. Only part one is out, the full game is not out. They are working on part 2 as of now but there is still so much more doors to work on. Don't spread false information
But its not false information because he's not wrong that the game is out but it is split into parts kind of like the new final fantasy 7 just because it is split into parts doesn't mean he's spreading false info.

I'm probably wrong, but I think CZcams tries to put the ads in transitional points in the video, so if there's a sudden change in background, or if the screen goes black for a split second, CZcams will think it's a good spot for an ad.

I think it was John Wolfe's playthrough where a dev explained that they reduced the number of drawings needed, but forgot to update the girl's dialogue afterward. So it's not a bug - game works as intended, text is wrong.

You're both correct. One of the creature designs was inspired by Nyarlathotep and the Shining Trapezohedron was put in as a direct Lovecraft homage.
I absolutely love the voice Mark gives the Pharaoh, made it more comical in a sense. Mark would make an excellent narrator!

I like the merging of art styles and that firefighter ghost/demon/whatever it is. This game looks like it has a lot of cool themes going on. I'm kinda looking forward to it, might be pretty cool..

It really isn’t the same art style at all. The people move like paper cutouts but that’s all they have in common. Fran Bow was true 2D while this is 2.5D, Fran Bow featured a more obviously pencil-drawn and off-putting style while this features more paint, oil pastel, and digital art. The people and objects move a lot less jerkily in this, all based on my recollection.

The whole concept here is amazing, the execution is fantastic, and this is just a demo?! Everything here works. The idea that you are going though these people's personal hells, and deciding whether or not to save their souls, or destroy them forever.
Even the design of the Fireman Wraith, its simply a normal firefighter pushed to its most terrifying extreme. And the touch of him gurgling when trying to talk to Anne-Marie (As he'd slit his own throat) is just fantastic. If you ask me, he didn't deserve it, he didn't mean to let her die, he was just scared and he ran.
And the Atmosphere. JFC its spot on. Everything feeling slightly off kilter, like theres something not right, somethings a little amiss. The creatures fit perfectly into the world(s) this game creates, and honestly reminds me a little of lovecraftian horrors (At least the first section, as well as the whole madness theme)
The artstyle is amazing too; it reminds me of many things, yet I can't fully attribute it to any one thing. The simplistic style allows the cutscenes to play out in rapid fashion, never interrupting the flow of play, and seemingly just fitting in with everything.
I hope and pray that this gets funded (I'd give money myself, but I...Am relatively poor), and that Mark ends up doing a full playthrough of it :3
