I still ride a B/W gsxr1100m and its a keeper, such raw power delivery, 1600 hrs restoration well spent.

    Cool vid😎.
Best year for these was the Killer K. 1989. The GSXR1100K & the Lotus Carlton (car) were two standard production machines responsible for capping the top speed & bhp over here in the UK. I have owned plenty of GSXR but now Have a Bimota SB6 which uses the later engine but it isn't a match for the K.

The race bike did NOT have stock headlight , taillight or stock rubber covered foot pegs . I was very familiar the actual racebike . You make some very bold claims my fellow GSXR loving friend . Those differences were just what I could notice from a quick glance at a laptop screen .

It is not a factory bike nor even close ...doesn't have any race history, the bike was built (made up ) to look like a former AMA bike

Documented by suzuki as a factory race bike used by team hammer to set the 1991 24 endurance record

It’s team hammer valvoline Suzuki and it’s not a super bike…. It’s a WERA FORMULA USA run what ya brung road racing…
The only two rules were two wheels and runs on fuel…… other than that…. Team Hammer, two Brothers Honda, and Erion Honda were the fastest bikes on the grid..
      GSXR-1100 bored out to 1340 or 1440
      That’s nuts!!!!!

Who ever posted that video spents more time on crack pipes than moto educational books. And magazines

Iconic bike. Looks great. But....hate to bust your bubble. I have the nicest 91 on the eastcoast. Hands down. Ill put it against any 91 in the world. 😜

@@bessbobs 89s are nice. Would love to find one. They are getting harder to find. I own a 90 and 2 91s. With a hans turbo. Rans

Stock bike with with aftermarket wheels, pipe and a paint job. There's nothing factory race bike about it. Whoever paid $19k for that is a fool.

Not better than mine by a long shot 😂😂😂 try this for spec 750f frame braced by nws to f1 spec / pfm brakes /astralite race wheels / full race nitron shock / braced arm / rs38 flatties /galespeed m/c / galespeed cable clutch/ 1109 big bore kit spondon adjustable triples / or harris ones which ever i use spa rev counter/ theres shitloads more but more than that stocker with the fancy paint and race pipe😂

So funny that's stockish bike not even a factory yoshi tank ..... I would suggest check bright and logic from Japan if you want to see cool gsxrs and that's hardly a factory bike
