After watching that KFC bit, I remembered that Bangladesh also has various local fast food chains. Haven't been to any of them, but I've heard lots of good things about them. Some local fast food places I know are Chillox, Kudos, Khanas and Takeout. You should eat at some of them.
If free, you guys should go to areas like Sreemangal and Coxs Bazar. Those are the biggest tourist attractions in Bangladesh.
Cuisines from all around the world are becoming more prevalent in Dhaka and Bangladesh as a whole.
I really noticed that this time.. the choice on offer. I wouldn’t normally have a kfc and we had planned to go for a smart Bengali lunch that day.. but shopping malls kind of zap energy (and I was on my last day before returning home and really tired!).. so we threw the towel in and went for it.. and kind of nice to show that all that stuff is there too I think.. but.. Bengali food is way better! 😍
Its true. Some local brands like chillox, takeout, Khanas, bfc may be better than kfc in terms of taste and even hygiene maybe. kfc is not up to mark.

Hi Harry and Carrie, the insane traffic in Dhaka will come to an end very soon:
1) Dhaka metro will open all six lines-
2) elevated expressway way 26km bypassing Dhaka city opening soon
3) dedicated bus lanes will be opening in July
4) underground railway work has started
I am keen to try the metro soon! Underground sounds interesting! Fixing the traffic will be a game changer in Dhaka!

Interesting episode .Local Brand Ornate make descent suitcase, or for international brand go for President, Samsonite or American Tourister, there is some large bag shop in Jamuan Future park only sell suitcase and bag. Best Wises

@@carriepatsalis : Though the block maps help but yes it is definitely huge and has outlets of almost all the low-mid-high range brands. Unsure whether you saw the car parking area or not; sometimes I just take a picture of the parking number and yet I find it difficult to relocate it.
