Paul, thanks that was a fantastic explanation of your processes to determine the why you modeled it that way. Enjoying your work immensely.
Thanks for the kind words Duncan. Happy you are enjoying the content. That’s my ultimate goal!
Great results! The silos and piping/hoses are the icing on the cake!
Appreciate that. The kit was a bit of a challenge but worth it I think. Thanks for the comment.
Magnificent video of the model train layout, i like it 5 stars.
Thumbs up.
Keep up the perfect work, my friend, liked and subscribed, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
Obrigado! Thank you for the kind words. And thank you for watching and subscribing! Cheers from the US.
very nice. just enough detail for my preferences. great job!
Appreciate that! Thank you for watching.
That’s a pretty cool kit. I considered using it on my prior layout. I really like what you did with it on your layout! 👍
Thanks. I appreciate the nice comment. Thank you for watching!
Looking excellent. 💯
Thank you! 😊
Looks great, thanks for sharing. I will be making something like this on my layout.
Thank you! Keep me posted on how it goes. And thanks for watching!
Nice to see an alternative to the standard build of Magic Pan. Looking to build one myself for my layout. Great kit bash!
Thank you! It was fun sorting out how I could make the kit fit the space. Thanks for watching.
I absolutely love what you did with this kit.
Thank you! Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching.
Looks pretty dang good to me 🤠
Thank you!
Nice kitbash…it is a versatile kit…the piping is a pain…kit-bashed it into my SAP Foods…
Yes the piping was a challenge. I’ll have to go back and check out SAP Foods on your videos. I’ve seen it but didn’t even realize it was the magic pan kit!
Wow a GFS truck I don't see to many of those in the model railroad world.
Lucky find on eBay!
@@HartfordWhaler I work for them so I spotted it right away lol!
Good review, add some lights above the car spots.
Yeah that’s on my list. Never ends. Thanks!
Nice kit bash! Love how you did it. My question is how did you cut them down and what did you use? Next time you do a kit bash can you do a how to on cutting down the building?
Great question. A lot of measuring and remeasuring initially. The cuts were mostly done using a metal ruler and razor blade to score the plastic. Then bending it to break it. To fine tune the fit, I used a file and a rasp. It’s a bit of touch and go. For thicker parts, I used an X-Acto razor saw. For the next video I do on buildings I’ll mention that. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Thank you for the info on that Paul. Love the layout and what you’re doing. You’ve had me hooked since your grade crossing signal installation videos!
@PaulB. I have a question for you how do you get into a model railroad club in the United States of America
Are you in the US? I’m not in any clubs, but a friend of mine has been in several and is well connected. Please reach out to him and let him know I sent you. He is Don Irace and his CZcams channel is @ThePWMRR Thanks for watching!
Nice. I kitbashed two of these kits to make one with 4x the footprint. Who makes the barbed wire fencing?
Thanks. See below video I recently posted about the fence…

Here's the link to my attempt at fencing (almost six years ago now!), minus the barbed wire:

More recently, I also tried the Walthers fencing that came with the substation kit. I posted a video on that last summer.
Awesome, thanks for the link. I’ll be watching it!
