Another impressive video! The fence turned out awesome and looks great next to the structure. Can’t wait to see you detail the entire scene!
Thanks Jason! Hope to detail that scene today.
Nice work
Hey dude this is a fantastic vid, very realistic looking fence.
I love your layout you really do have the midas touch, beautiful colours used throughout and superb weathering.
Thanks for sharing..

Very nice! I'm just started on scenery and buildings!
Thx! Glad to hear you're just getting started.

Great tutorial once again Doug.. thanks for sharing
Great idea, especially on scene separation. Thank you.
Turn out great!
Thank you!
I say this every time I watch your tutorial videos .. makes me want to immediately stop what I am doing and .. in this case .. make some fencing
Thanks Ed, get to that fence.
@@FosScaleModels I may well start in a few. I'm putting together a spray booth (DIY) .. raining and cold so got time to put fencing up .. inside .. :)
Doug, great educational video. Thank you for sharing. You really make it look easy.
Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Thanks Michael!
Love the detail you do and they way you show how. It’s a little harder for me because I’m N scale. But I use your technics all the time. I do have a question. How can I make clap board siding sheets to scratch building. I’m in the Philippines so I’m limited on things I can get here. Shipping from the states doubles the costs. Thanks a bunch
Amazing!
Thank you!
could you use a green oil paint in place of the moss deposits like you did with the Burnt umber?
As long as it matches the algae, yes.
Great FAUS (FAUx Fos) fence. But Doug I have a question. I saw you had left a prototypical gap in the fencing in the rear section. Good eye.
However, how would you have treated two, or more, angled boards, as they would over hang the adjacent straight boards? And how would you handle the obligatory top nail, used as a swing pivot, to open the gap you'd squeeze through?
I have given it some thought. None of my ideas seem appropriate.

Hi Jim, anything is possible with a fence. Ever since I saw a pick up truck cap used as a skylight on a house, there are no rules to what is prototypical, anything goes!
Does anyone have an HO scale drive in movie theatre ?

Good tutorial but your 321 block - you should be ashamed!!!!!
