I know this is old, but it's called a zip. Basically you overload the memory of the rewind system with a bunch of junk inputs (which he does by binding scroll to walk forward) and everything past a certain number of inputs gets it's momentum multiplied and can go through walls. There's also a zipless category due to how prevalent the glitch is in normal runs.
no idea what patch you are talking about. that would be a mod, which is not allowed for speedruns done on the leaderboard. But you are always free to speedrun w.e game or modded game that you want. (it would just be a different category, or even game depending how different it is)

What I recommende you is that you search For prince pf persia speedrunig explained/glitches, and you'll find a community dedicated to help you. But it you're not into speed running, than i suggest to you to play the Game normaly without exploitation of bugs at Least on your first playthrough. It's a good video game sometimes I came here for nostalgia . And good luck
This is the any% category, glitches are allowed. If you are interested in a "glitchless" category, check out "NMG (No Major Glitches)" runs. That's the closest thing we have to a glitchless category in pop games.

you dont do it on a controller. Also that forward walk motion is done by binding forward to mwheel

@@gene6794 I think it is possible to do on controller but it's easy to miscount the amount of steps you need or to drop inputs.
Thats because you can't, you can do it only with mouse. Map the mousewheel to move forward and that's it.

Mod is not allowed in running , the sword he has the sand sword regen sands every 2 seconds
