Yeah? What do you do with the meat once it’s expired from the hot lanes? You put them in hot bins ALL DAY, freeze it and use it for chili. I think it’s genius and cuts down waste; but I bet at least half of the people wouldn’t eat the chili if they knew that..

That dumbass told him to Zap it for 60 seconds lmao! Those damn microwaves are nuclear, we put them in for like 20 maybe 30 seconds to melt the cheese and they were blistering hot; couldn’t imagine a minute and grabbing underneath in the middle like that 😂
Microwave should not be used period at Burger King unless it is in the employee break room. I used to work at McDonalds and a Mexican guy who work for years was training me on the 10:1 grill. I accidentally drop 2 patties I was go throw it away and make new one's. He pick them up off the floor and put them on the big Macs. He told me don't say anything.. True story

The Burger King I worked at back in 1985 the broiler and the toaster we’re on the same conveyor and it was as big as Pizza Hut because I work there too😎 Then after the patties and the bread came out on the assemble tray, then you put them together and put them in the steamer. The rest the other cooks do lettuce tomatoes etc. etc.

@Josh Show Either you didn't understand what I meant by that comment, or you just think I'm being a hypocrite... I've worked at Burger King before and you must sanitize your hands properly every hour or so, and if you touch a piece of clothing or your cap in this case you would be told to re-sanitize. I added in the surgeon comment as a sarcastic joke.

We do this restaurant is a bad one. The one I work at flame broils the meat, and put it in a Product holding unit to keep the meat warm (we cycle the meat every hour) and we don't microwave anything except the Apple pie and ham for croissan'whiches and burritos to melt the cheese. Burger Kings vary depending on where u live
Big city BK's typically have lower quality foods.

Things have changed. I remember working at BK they had this big fire grill and they would bring out frozen patties and push it down a conveyor belt and let it cook that way and walla.

If it's Flame grilled it usually has lines on the Hamburger sometimes it does and it has that authentic taste.When it isn't Flame grilled it tastes like a gas station burger or has a tuna fish after taste lol.
Nothing from fast food places is grilled my man , the markings are place there artificially and the taste is simply because they just either brought it out the broiler or it's just you but actually "grilling" a burger at a fast food place is non existent at least around my area jt is

Here in Europe we do not used microwave anymore.
And when a restaurant Flame Grills when you walk or drive by you can usually smell the food.When the restaurant doesn't grill there Hamburger's it won't have that same aroma.

Sucks they used to flame boil the burgers right where you could see it being cooked and taken off the boiler and placed on the bun that was in the 70s they were good back then. Now i guess they micowave the meat now thats why i don't eat there anymore.

I haven't gotten a hot burger from burger King since I can remember.. That's why I never eat there.. The burgers are just marginally warm and they are dry.. Taste like crap.. I want a hot burger with juice.. 5 guys all the way.

Christa B Thats only the bun to make sure its full warm. The buns r ran through a regular bun toaster, but to in sure the quality of (warm) burger over all micro waving it is to make sure (people dont complain) bout it being cold.
should not microwave for 1 minute..for 1 whopper only take 0.09 sec to microwave..not 'W' button but should use '2' button..hahaha..he is marketing manager and not from operation department..,APAC should ask operation manager or restaurant manager to teach that journalist the right way to make a whopper. as a BK restaurant manager from 2012,i never ever see my staff make a whopper within 0.10 to 0.15 sec..1 whopper should be done below that 0.30 sec..
toast bun (0.07 +/- sec) + placing the condiments (0.18 +/- sec including 0.09 sec microwave the bun and patty).
total time : 0.25 +/- sec for 1 whopper to be done...0.10 to 0.15 sec is the time you take to wait for the bun come out from toaster(if the toaster too slow)..haha..

The Burger King I work at we don't microwave The burger like they did in this Video... Because where I work at the meat is all ready 100% fully cooked when we start assembling Sandwiches.... how many years ago was this video published..2013 it's now 2020. . Video is outdated... microwave nolonger apart of the Sandwich Assembly process in 2020 since meat is now 100% fully cooked and warm before we start putting together sandwiches
