  • Is your horse short-strided, or just “not quite right” behind? If your horse is short-strided or a little “off” with no apparent problem in the feet or lower legs, then it could the result of tension, strain or spasm in the deeper muscles of the hind end or the lower back. In this video Jim Masterson of the Masterson Method demonstrates a bodywork technique that you can use to help your horse relax and release tension in the hind end safely.
This is a Masterson Method technique that you can use to encourage relaxation through the back and deep muscles of the hind end. The Masterson Method teaches horse owners a unique, interactive method of equine bodywork for alleviating soreness, strain, and tension in the horse.
