Wow, we went this year and it looks like we started at the wrong end of the place, I don't remember seeing half this many models by the time we got to the contest area. My son invited me to go to the show with him and his friends, so many cool model kits and it got me inspired to get going on some kits i had packed away.
It was a big show and I missed some things too.... Cool to read you are going to start on some kits that you've had for a while!!!!! It's a great hobby, if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them. Have a good weekend!!

Hi Tim, that was a absolutely outstanding model show, it would have taken a long time yo go around the whole show, I particularly liked the tfu k section, and I realised I prefer the oldef style trucks, again not certain if I missedthem, but I did not see any emergency type vehicles, but such is life, best regards from Australia 👍👍👍👍👍

Now that you mention it, I don't recall any Emergency vehicles at the show. I definitely would have shown them if they were there as I try really hard to show everything on the tables.
Great model car show! And the cool rides that rolled in at the end were pretty sweet! I remember building some of those models back in the 70's. Really enjoyed the video!

Purple falcon,burnt orange barracuda ok,they did a nice job on the hemi hydro and the vans,61 Olds with flames real nice,did I give you surf boards ? 65 signet oh wow,like the unfinished van hauler.you had some pretty good picks also.

Your to kind Rick..... 🙂 Actually I really don't build in the summer (never have). Something I do in the summer, I'll take parts outside in the evening and sand mold lines. I like to get out and enjoy the summer so when winter comes I'm ready to just stay inside. That's when I get my building done! And after sanding mold lines all summer I can get quite a few done then. 😊

No. They have different classes for adults and they also have a juniors class. They are not segregated by skill level.

All modelers and all skill levels are welcome. Its a great chance to meet other builders, show your models and see others. I always come away from a show full of new ideas.
What Rob and Raisin said..... Bring some builds, heck, for me it's all about the camaraderie with the other model builders!!!!!

What kind of paints are being used the finishes are beautiful. I’m new to modeling. I’m currently using Tamiya paints
Tamiya paints are great paints Mark!! Everyone has their favorites as there are soooo many out there to choose from.
My personal choice is Tamiya then Testors One Coat Lacquer. Try several different ones and you will find what works best for you. When weathering I like Tamiya, AK and AMMO.

@@THROTTLEPOWER So currently at this time I am building a 66 Malibu SS. It’s a super fun build. I also have a 1990 mustang lx lined up next, then a 66 ford fairlane, 71 road runner. I do have one of my dream imports to build as well which is the Nissan skyline gtr 34 nismo z tune. I just love that in this hobby you can have the best of both import and domestic.
The car in the thumbnail has the rear wheel way to far back in the wheel well.
