I have many kikuyu friends and I am glad you spoke about them. I am very intrigued about their traditional god Ngai like the massai. I wish more africans would keep their old beliefs, they are the same as any religion today. Sort of sad, but thank you for this.
we were coersed by force to the church during colonial era they used unorthodox means to force us in the church by destroying our tradional herbal plants and the traditional doctors , ypu couyld not get treatment unless you were a church member and there was a pass our people were forced to carry that had the church , so its not that we wanted our people even formed their own church when we were forced to european churches so there was resistance, we are the only community that managed to form our own church independent of colonizers when things became too bad, unfortunately the government keep trying to purnish our people for trying to return to our God even the current puppet
