    I really like your ring design. I think it will be really pretty as a bracelet too. I disagree about cutting the thread. I always cut my thread because I find I unspool my thread if I don’t cut it off. Then I have a mess of my thread spool and end up loosing more thread. I am making your ring next! Thank you. 🌸

      Haha I guess it's a matter of preference -- I usually mess up my main thread or it ends too quickly and I hate adding new thread (in small designs), so I find it convenient to have the other end to work with. As for unspooling, some brands have these little slots where you can put the end to hold it in place (and for Nymo you can cut the carton side piece, but it's only after you've used up some of the thread), sometimes that's helpful. Thanks a lot for the comment 💗💗💗

    Can you do this with stretchy string

    • @EurekaCrystalBeads
      @EurekaCrystalBeads  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi Melinda! Short answer: rather not, long answer: although technically you could find stretchy cord that might, with some effort, go through all the beads twice, the cord would be too tightly packed to give it much stretch, and the making would be a hassle. However, if you use beads with larger holes, for instance Toho Round 6/0, this might work with stretchy cord, but the ring would be much thicker.

    Do you have a written pattern for this?

      Hi! The drawing of the pattern that you can see in the video can be downloaded - if you go to the link in the description, there is a 'download pattern' button. :)

    hello, how much string do you use?

    • @EurekaCrystalBeads
      @EurekaCrystalBeads  Před rokem

      Hi! When it comes to thread, in this case half a 'wingspan' should be enough (the length of your arm extended to the side), but it's a good idea to leave the tail and not cut the other end of the thread off right away, because if you run out of thread, in this way you can come back and use the other end of the thread to continue your work. Hope this helped!
