This was supposed to be a throw away year for the Sixers. No matter how their playoffs end, they have shown Embiid and Maxey are a duo worth joining. If they bring in another legit guy they're gonna be formidable. If Embiid can just make it to the playoffs once healthy they have a real chance to take it all.
Sadly, they need a real backup for Embiid.
They need a better supporting cast,

@@Bonezone84Yup. Both Paul George and Pascal Siakam are available this summer. And either one of them gives the Sixers something they haven’t had. A lengthy wing player who can score from anywhere but also defend. Which is what we thought Tobias would be when we signed him but uhhhh……yea.

Tyrese Maxey's game kinda reminds me of Tony Parker but with more more shooting range and athleticism and Parker had a great feel and IQ for the game too which is something Maxey has as well.
Maxey has the potential to be a much better defender than Parker was.
Honestly maxey is like curry if u really think about it just the finishing and shooting is flipped with a lil defense

I want my sixers to put Embiid as the #2. It is not only the most beneficial for the team but for Embiids health and success. A Zach Lavine or Siakam alongside these two would compliment them so well. If Tobias just played like a consistent 15-20 pts 7-10 rebounds every night my god would things be different.
The way Embiid made Turnover after Turnover and Maxey be able to fix those errors are just insane he is next up fasure.

What if Sixers made the first free throw, missed the second on purpose, got the rebound, kicked it out and hit three like Ray Allen heat vs. Suprs Nba Finals? I can not believe they call themselieves basketball analisits. In playoff, You can not cheat the game. You always play good defense. There is 15 seconds left. You are up by 3. Why would you foul? In this season, no team fouled when they were up by 3. They all played good defense. Some won. Some went to overtime. You do not foul... especially when you are playing at home. If the game goes to overtime, you still have the fans to make some noise.

If Maxey is the "next" anything, I'd compare him to Dwayne Wade or James Worthy. And hey, being DWade or Worthy is something to be. They both got 3 rings and 1 finals MVP. That's 3 more rings and 1 more finals MVP than most NBA players ever get.
