If i was morey, it's about time to build around maxey. not embiid. basically find pieces that fall under these 3 categories:
1. near the same age as maxey
2. can shoot from 3 so can space the floor for maxey
3. is young and healthy enough to play alot of games
jimmy and george is just more of embiid's timeline. they arent bastions of health either and would miss alot of games. If morey was ballsy, he'd consider trading embiid out west. make his injury issues someone else's problem and go all in on maxey. perhaps call up old firends in houston if they'd like to pair van vleet with embiid while morey can get sengun, green, filler and lots of picks. then use the free cap space to sign a healthier 2nd/3rd star. doesnt have to be houston either. maybe check with okc how they feel about pairing up SGA and embiid then they can fish out chet, j-dub, filler and lots of picks.
New CBA is about to even out the playing field. Big markets can no longer over spend unless they wanna deal with heavy repercussions

As much as a jimmy reunion entices me, building out the roster with high level starters/role players like Malik monk and miles bridges as well as shooters like buddy hield and maybe obi topin and bringing back the dogs that have proven themselves on our roster like Kelly oubre and cam payne entices me more

Paul George is great, but he’s been unreliable. Also the last few years. He’s been very hot and cold. The 76ers don’t need another star… they need a solid bench that doesn’t get decimated. Maxey used to hold down the fort but now he’s leading them. They need someone to take the Russ Westbrook roll, and lead the second group. Jimmy Butler would’ve been perfect if he accepted the role. The problem with Butler or Paul they are going to get in the way of Tyrese Maxey and his growth. I knew he was a superstar the first time I saw him years ago, but he’s a lot like Austin Reeves where they defer to other players but when it’s clear, they are the one who needs to step up. They are amazing.

Philly don’t need another star just built around maxey and get players who can play defense and get their own shot. So F- Paul George, Jimmy , Harris, get someone who is young
If they can replace Harris with George that would be a huge upgrade. George might not be that much better offensively but he’s a player that can defend many positions at a decent rate and he can score when needed too. At least I trust him more than I ever did Tobias Harris.
Philly have some options for sure... I think teams like Phoenix, Clippers and Lakers will be active during the summer, because they need to make some massive changes if they wanna be competitive again, but Philly actually got the budget, and their team doesn't need as much of a change. I think Jimmy is a more all around player (defense/offense) but Paul George is a more accurate shooter (scorer) so either way they would be amazing, if they look into long term problem solving, then Ingram would be a better choice since he is only 26yo compare to the other two (34yo).
Harden, George, Leonard. I just don't get the hype around these players. Sure, they are good, but that's about it. They move from one team to another team, get paid sht tons of money... and for what? To get eliminated in the 1st round year after year?

And we can find disasters like that going back every year since he became a starter. Yeah, he has some great games too, but he is good for a loss or two in every series, and that doesn’t work in the playoffs.
Harden only has made it to the finals as a bench player. I knew immediately when the Clippers traded for Harden that they were no longer contenders and were going nowhere this year.

Tobiasss was taking up all the money for said role players. We literally got beaten by a team of role players on the Knicks. The only stars we should be going for are ones that can fit with Maxey in the future and can win now with Embiid. Markaanen is a good example
