I have an old Lgb MTS system. Should I purchase a new DCC system to control my new LGB/Marklin Golden Spike set?
It might work on the old system, but the new Central Station 3 Plus is all preprogramed for all of the functions of the Golden Spike set.

It is kind of inaccurate that the engines play the national anthem. The song "The Star-Spangled Banner" did not become the official national anthem of the U.S. until 1930, and the Driving of the Golden Spike took place in 1869.

Was $10,000 a year or two ago when they first came out, now it's 1/2 the price, must feel really foolish to spend $10k on these when they first debuted lol. They're be on Ebay in 5 years for $1,000.
