Really not much difference between a VW and a 356.

Wow. Didn't expect to see so many yellow 356s! At first when I saw a yellow 356 with a "For Sale" sign on it I was NOOOO! LOL

Jared, hoping you were looking for a Left fender!!! really nice to see other 356's that are not perfect, please take us up & down the coast whenever possible, from Indiana where everything is flat.........
This week I saw a 356 coupe on a highway. Such an amazing car!! They are really rare here in Brazil. I own a Puma GTE 74 (a Brazilian classic car model), which reminds me the classical Porsches. This is my suggestion for next channel's car restoration. Nice video and nice car!!

It was in Anaheim, it was put on by the 356 Club of Southern California.
Why are you changing the trans?? Usually older types of transaxles where higher ratio so you get a lower RPM at highway speed... Your trans is very quiet
My car currently has an early trans in it, I’ve been looking for the correct later transmission for a while.
Great.. but keep in mind that later trans are lower gear ratio.. higher rpm... more noise at highway speeds

No I’ve never done anything like this as a job. I learned a lot from my dad (also not a mechanic) and the rest from watching CZcams 👍
@@Jerod_Helt gotcha. im an electrician so im good at taking apart and repairing but i always have trouble getting over the fact that i am cutting into a car haha. i always watch your videos though as the body work ones make me feel more confident as i am doing the exact same body stuff to my 40

I think I spent about a minute or two see if it was crashed looking, but then you have all of these Yuppies on their Saturday browsing Porsche spare parts. How Yuppified can you get, except maybe drinking a Starbucks double mocha soy latte while doing it?
