Agree with your statement about the order of usage. Normally it is being said to use a fallout remover first, as it needs to hold on to the surface, which it can do best when dry, thus won't get diluted. But I also say best to wash first, then dry, then fallout remover and tar remover, then one more rinse and then clay (and maybe one more rinse to follow).
Thanks Zsolt, I agree with you and if I was a detailer I would do that but I don't dry panels after each stage because I'm lazy 😆

It's good to watch someone who reviews cleaning products and tests them on a Kia Rio. (Same car as me) very impressed. It would take something very special to take me away from autoglym, however would accept recommendations. Great video 👍

Cheers Paul. I think the fairest way to describe these is "stepping stone" products. Something between supermarket products and more detailer or enthusiast focused products.
Nice review, a lot slate the car plan range on the groups etc.. But honestly as an off the shelf or starter product I don't think they are that bad atall.no used any of the no1 stuff yet but I have and still the demon stuff I use the APC/rapid dirt shifter is basicly just TFR. Why waste premium pre wash products on somthing really dirty when that will do the job just as well in some cases. Also demon foam smells great and is really slick it was better than some "branded" ones I have used overall...
Thoughts on doing a wet coat of the super gloss then drying and doing a dry coat to get a good coverage of protection and shine
You'd use more product than you need to but other than that it's fine. I'd prefer to dry the car, apply the product then use it as a wet coat after the next wash to top it up.
Hi Specky, great video,I do own the detox and the super gloss of these,never tried them but I will do, the shampoo looks good enough to use as a shampoo,the super gloss can be used on glass,what about the front windscreen?

Hello Specky. Is an iron fallout remover as effective on wheels, as a dedicated wheel cleaner ?
Iron Fallout removers are not cleaners and should be used alongside wheel cleaners. Some wheel cleaners have iron fallout removers included in the mix though.
Mmmm, I never found the super gloss that shiny and when I tried it on a wet panel it went all smeary.
It is, however, a good sealant for my mothers headstone!

Well I've never had an issue with streaking and this was the first time using it on a wet panel and it worked fine. Not sure what happened with yours but at least you found a good use for it.
Triplewax released a snow foam called vortex blast , very economical but don’t know how good it is
The directions say 9:1 dilution ratio but also say you can use it as a shampoo 🤔

Well done for choosing the mass market brands to review, detailers will turn their noses up, but they have their place in the market, well done for the dilution ratios, too many brands are remiss in this dept.

Old comment but in my opinion the mass market stuff by major manufacturers are often better than niche products. They have the budget for R&D.
I'd say that's true some of the time, however many "mass market" brands often rely on their headline products and rarely develop anything new. I'm not saying that's the case all of the time but the I've noticed new brands creating something new that forces the stalwarts to play catch-up. It's all swings and roundabouts in the industry.

The only reason I can think of as to why manufacturers continue to mention the use of the dreaded sponge etc, is so they don't scare away the average consumer (their target market?) who typically has no idea about correct detailing methods or willing to spend £ on mitts etc. As surely they must know how bad this is!? 🤔
I'm sure you're right, it just annoys me that these products are sold in places that also sell cheap wash mitts. Even supermarkets have wash mitts!
What drying clothes you recommend please
Any decent twisted loop drying towel should do, I've got quite a few.

Specky, Did it clean the panels when used as snow foam?
I'm not sure how much cleaning happened but it stayed wet so the dirt got a good soak. It certainly looked better after rinsing it off.
Good video :) The shampoo looks like it has masses of foam stabilizers in it. Very much like AG Polar Blast in that regard. Its not something I like as it hangs around on the ground for a while, and drives the neighbors nuts when they have to drive through it.
Also the shampoo has a caustic component to it :( It works, but at what long term cost to the paint
Its not something I like to put on the car every time I was it, but once in a while will be fine. It ties into the average Joe who is only going to was a car once every 6-8 weeks. Its not really eco friendly either, which is something I look for these days in products.
Shame about not having clear dilution rations as well. Makes it hard to work out cost per wash, and compare value with other products.
Its a bit strange that Tetrosyl, the makes of the best trade tar remover, haven't got a consumer version in this No1 line?
At least the detox is cool, and its available at Halfrauds :) The super gloss, hmmm, there are many other products out there that product the same results, or better.
At least they have tied it together as a complete system, and the bottles labeling and colors will draw your attention to them.

@@SpeckyMcSporran Just started getting into looking after my car. Got a brand new black car about 5 weeks ago, washed it with AG polar shampoo, then used AG SRP then used bilt hamber double speed wax. My question is I wash it every weekend and i would like to use this stuff as a drying aid but will it compromise the polish and wax? And also how do I remove the posh and wax to start again? Thanks in advance big yin!!
Always wash the car first otherwise the fallout remover wont get to the actual paint you'll just be getting rid of the iron from the dirt

Tetrosyl do some good products especially their Demon Shine (unbeatable drying aid imo) but if they want to go toe to toe with the big boys in the detailing world they need to come away from jumbo yellow sponges and chammy’s. Leave that stuff in the 80’s and 90’s where it belong with Zip Wax.
Totally agree
