I’ve just bought a Michelin second hand double piston foot pump and the digital display doesn’t work which was omitted in the description and I’m wondering if the rubbish chip is a well known feature?

My air pipe has leaked at the base near the pump. Is it possible to get a replacement pipe?

I've got one of the silver ones, the first ones I guess it is, it was working well at first but then I noticed that, even though the tyres have air in them already, it would always start at zero every time I wanted to pump up the tyres, is this usual? It also seems to take a long time too 😕

Mine is silver and has started reading high pressure
299 psi a lot of the time, other times in the 70-80psi range.
When it sticks high you can't get the pump to turn on because the highest it can tag in 299psi

Can it be configured to bypass the chip... Just to use to use with out the pressure feature?

Yes you could just wire the switch to the air pump and then use a separate gauge to check the pressure, I'm planning on building my own control board for it with an oled display etc, stay tuned for future videos on this

Should of took bottom screws out that are covered with rubbers

Yeah that makes it a lot easier I had to replace the small tube inside!
