My mother was a collector of glass baskets. We split her collection when she passed away about 10 years ago. I got most of her Fenton baskets and the carnival glass. Love them.
P.s don't let anyone tell you " chip doesn't take away from the piece" unless your putting a plant in it but for collecting it does take value away...

One of the most valuable learning videos I've seen lately...so much to watch on YT as a reseller, but as I continue to try and fix my mistakes as a beginner I love when I stumble on to some true education to begin building some knowledge......I'm in search of a niche....looks like The NICHE Lady is a good place to open my notebook and go to school :)

Hello Danni. I think you are amazing. What you are sharing is years n years of knowledge and experience! Not to be taken lightly! I was raised by a Mother who knew and loved Westmoreland milk glass. Vaseline glass. Handkerchief vases etc. All things lovely and beautiful! I have a small bedroom hurricane glass in the custard glass with flowers. Got in the 60's. Some gorgeous glass pieces there.
Love the focused content of this subject. After seeing one like this I go spend several hours at a nearby mall....picking up glass saying "ahhh, ok, got it" It is a good feeling...Thank you

This was so interesting, I hope you do more of these. Repetition helps in identifying more. Fenton is about the only items I can usually pick out. There are so many glassware companies and so much variation.

Awesome informative video!!! We cant go out to antique/thrift stores because of our province's lockdown so it was so nice to see all the different glass. Even though I couldn't feel the glass i could tell by you holding the piece.
