    Thanks! I learned a lot. It’s probably a good thing that you aren’t thrilled with Fenton glass. That way it’s easier to let it go to a buyer.

    It’s the manganese in the glass that causes the purple hue when left in the sun.

    At 13:03 you can see the difference of the sharpness around the edges on top. The sun purple glass has sharper points around the top vs the first clear piece you showed in the beginning (describing the sharpness) had more of a rounded edge on top. These are older than the other one I think. Absolutely love that you did this video! Thank you 😊

    You're so right about Fenton. I have two clear satin bud vases with the water lily pattern. I paid 99 cents for one and $2 for the other. I knew they were Fenton the moment I picked them up. They're currently gracing my mantle and hold roses from the bushes out back.

    Please do more of these. I am a glass collector and used to have space in resale shops before eBay. I never really did make money, the renters did. I would also go to other shops and educate myself on the different patterns of glass. I have every color, blue, red, green, pink, orange, clear, opalescent and carnival. (no yellow). Some I sell, most of them I keep in my glass cases.

    I’ve been a lover of milk glass since the late early 80’s! My mother and I would hit local thrift stores and garage sales in our area on the hunt for it. I have quite the collection today as I still collect it amongst other kinds of glass. Thanks for the insight and for sharing.

    I enjoyed this. I’m perfectly satisfied shopping with you every time, too. Do what makes you happy, too!
    My favorites are the EAPG and American Brilliant. I love Depression glass dishes and glass kitchenware and everyday glassware from the 20s to the 40s or 50s, as well. Oh, and the elegant glass! I love it all.
