I still have decaf zips saved on my pc in Mp3 form like they where before CZcams compression ( I got them from a old bass head back in like 2008). zips 1- like 44 .. Some 500 + songs many of which are not up on youtube or too compressed or bass boosted into garbage . Decaf is one of the best for a reason .
Always. This is like the theme song for my friend group back in our early 20s. I'm now well into my 30s. My youngest brother just turned 16 and got his first car a few weeks back. When he was little he always said he wanted subs like mine when he could drive. I went out to my garage and dug out my old V1 JL Audio 12w3s, they were dusty as hell and the surrounds had dry rotted away. They cost me a small fortune when I bought them secondhand back in 2008 (I was washing dishes in a small restaurant then making like 6 bucks an hour) but as a young Bass Head they were my pride and joy, and worth every cent. They followed me from one car to the next across the following years. I paired them to 4 different amps until I found one I was happy with and they were reboxed probably a dozen times but I never felt the need to upgrade subs because they always just sounded so perfect. Eventually I was lucky enough that as my circumstances improved, my budget grew. Eventually I hit a point where my vehicle was new enough that adding in my now very much retro system became a chore and looked rather out of place. Fortunately, electronics have shrunk a great deal in recent years and I was able to eventually get a system that hit just as good but at a fraction of the size. Despite that, I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of the w3s because I always thought I might need them again someday. A few bucks on Amazon for parts and an afternoon of cleaning and repair later, they looked good as new. Times have changed a lot since then, you can't just run up to the local Walmart and grab a decent sounding box off the shelf. I made preparations to build a new one from scratch but by happenstance one of my old college buddies came by for a visit while I was redoing the surrounds and mentioned that he had a period correct sealed box with JL Audio logo carpet on it in his shed he wanted to donate to the cause. I snagged a pair of matching JL mono amps online and the waiting game began. Eventually, I got word from my parents that my step mom had "borrowed his car to take it to the mechanic" and they had sent him to school on the bus. I went to their house and installed everything while he was away. When he got home that afternoon everything was ready to go and as soon as he walked up the driveway I took him over to show him what I had done for his belated birthday present. After some laughter and tears we decided to fire it up to see how it sounded and this is the first song I picked to show him. He's more into the popular songs of today, so he wasn't exactly confident in my choice but when the first drop hit both his smile and the sounds from my old subs were indescribable. Just like that, I'm a kid again. I've got my Top Back. I'm throwing some D's on it. My car is inside peanut butter with an ice cream paint job and I'm partying like a Rock Star. It's Gorilla Zoe and Crime Mob and Three 6, then we started on EDM and I played all the greats from club bangers to dubstep and trance and everywhere in between. I ran him through all the hits of my generation and honestly he liked a lot more than I thought he would. Then I let him loose and he showed me what the kids are into now. To be fair there's some real talent out there today. We were sitting in that car for what felt like forever. I'll never forget that moment and I'll never stop listening to this song.
My sub is a kicker comp 15" and let me tell you its probably the most amazing thing I have ever heard. Its the best feeling when your whole house shakes at 2:30 in the morning!

This is my favorite version of this, it touches the heart and soul so deeply and I hate that I live in an apartment building and can’t play it with my stereo home theater it shakes and vibrates the whole building even on low volume and i almost got kicked out because the neighbors thought that we were having an earthquake lol! Please don’t take this down. I love it and come back here to listen whenever I can. I got the sheet music for it and can’t wait to find a grand piano to play it someday!
This song is so meaningful for me because it was the last song that my best friend and I listened to before she got sent away... We where just at the movie "it" in theaters and she was bringing me back home. When we got back to my house we just sat in my driveway, in her car listening to really good bass songs and I told her about this song and she played it. She was amazed by it! When the song was over it was 12:02am, she said that she better get home because she wasn't supposed to drive past 12am. I got out of her car and thanked her for bringing me. I got to my front door and she yelled good night, love you as she was driving away, and I siad it back to her. That was the last time I saw her before she had to go.

It goes from 33,hz 27hz, to 39hz and finally 29hz

This song is awesome, love the bass in this song. It's so melodic and relaxing.
Is there any way this could be uploaded to Spotify please?!
I want this song played at my funeral
Why can't bassheads and classical music lovers just get along? Lol.. I actually started listening to Ludovico Einaudi because of this tho..
+CHADD SIMON I like this ^^^, I love trap, dubstep, future bass, alternative, classical, rap, etc. I listen to music critically on good studio monitors but also enjoy a modest amount of bass in my car from my Alpine Type R-12. I also play piano, and this is a really easy and fun one to play.
Had my 12 shaking on a different level holy shit best tuning song
