This was such a fun week to watch. So many places that I planned to visit before such things were impossible, and a few more that will make that future trip even longer, that I finally got to see. Can't wait until I can see them in person someday.

Came back to finish this stream since CZcams says I didn't do that. I don't care how pixelated the video is, this is my favorite channel(along with your main one lol) on CZcams. Both these channels and Sharla, Abroad in Japan, and all the others are literally my comfort space from a stressful day lol you all really help me through the worst stuff!

I love being able to see all kinds of places that I can't physically get to. That doesn't mean the fact that I can't make it to Japan. It's the fact that I can't do stairs without at least two people willing to drag my wheelchair up and down the stairs.

Now that's atmosphere! Most countries have nice views & places of interest, but Japan has it's very own style of stunning vistas. Thanks for getting me to this 1 Norm, much appreciated, I just wish I could 1 day dip my toes into a proper onsen. Stay safe everyone.
Gosh... 6 months before the world shut down I did a trip to Nagoya, Gero, Takayama, Shirakawago, Kanazawa, Toyama, Tateyama, Omachi, Matsumoto, and back to Nagoya. Your live streams bring back so many memories cause my travel companion and I walked most of the places you walked.
If you want to see the cloud sea, stay a night on Tateyama at Midagahara. I stayed a night and in the morning took a walk at the wetlands reserve, and because we were so high up we were high above the clouds looking over the cloud sea. It was breathtaking!
Thank you for the stream of the country side. Was born in Tokyo, but live in Canada much longer than in Japan. Not having lived in the countryside of Japan, watching your video is educational as well as enjoyment.

The blessed grain is a ward against mischievous spirits and a harbinger of good health and prosperity in business and family. The more kernels of corn in the head, the greater the chance of good health. The longer the corn silk, the greater the prosperity. I think you'll mainly find them outside merchant's doors?

i love seeing these tiny country towns!! i missed the live stream but always love watching and listening later. The smallest town we visited on our trips to Japan was the koi village Ojyia in Niigata.

The view down the stairs across the town was amazing and as someone with big feet I envy all of those wide steps. Also, it is always interesting to see the difference in how much care the Japanese show to graves compared to Americans. Teens here would have trashed that area and left cigarette butts everywhere.
5 years ago I walked through the same city. That is so nostalgic. But I see, that I should have definitly take more time to explore the Town, when I see this. But I was young and stupid, now I knows better, so it is ok. Nice Livestream of you.

Onsen are one of the most things I am looking forward! Since we moved to our new place I can't bathe anymore , because we have only a shower :/ And I love to have a hot bath, especially on cold days.
The place at the river looks nice for having a picnic or ohanami ^^
