    His named is spelled; NIMOY. My dad and he were both from the West End of Boston.

    I grew up right around the corner from the Vilna Schul. Rabbi Kaufman was friend of our family. It made no difference that we were Catholic. None of that mattered in the West End because we respected and love each other.

    I would be curious to know if they ever got the Vilna Shul refurbished. I pray they did.
