  • How to change the antifreeze or coolant on a Mk5 R32 Golf
    The next part of the "change all fluids on the R32" project was moving on to the antifreeze or coolant. I haven't had any cooling issues with the car, but time to get it changed and make sure it's done right! Preventative maintenance!

    Just done my coolant change using ready mixed G12 evo and added a capful of ZX1 to protect the water pump. Great video. Thank you.

      Cheers! Genuinely just use good Hozelock fittings, make sure you push them home properly and no leaks!

    I thought it was lifetime fluid from the factory. G12 then, now G13, right?

    • @NeilMagill
      @NeilMagill  Před 3 lety

      I dont believe its lifetime fluid, but could be wrong :).

      @@NeilMagill On my twin charged 1.4 TSI it is lifetime. When they changed it after 11 years it was still perfect. Only changed it to get a new radiator.

    I don’t think it’s a very good idea to be flushing ur radiator with water from a garden hose definitely gunna be adding a lot of premature ware in ur radiator

      If you use demineralised water, then nothing should happen
