- Since 2003, the Air Force has lost 20 EOD technicians, when Airmen began diffusing bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan.
With combat missions winding down, EOD is now able to divert attention to its nine other mission sets: aerospace systems and vehicle conventional munitions, weapons of mass destruction, nuclear inventory, UXOs, operational range clearances, mortuary services, defense support for civil authorities, irregular warfare (where EOD teams serve as combat enablers for general forces or special operations), and VIP support. (U.S. Air Force video by Jimmy D. Shea)
Rest in peace to Airman Brian M. Guerin...Former Air Force and EOD. Died this past November. My brother and best friend, love you brother and you did us all proud.
How did you brother die? I’m thinking of EOD as one of my main choices for special warfare

The bomb suit guy at the end who cannot cross his arms made me laugh.
HawkeyeNation19 No tech calls the bomb suit an ABS...
HawkeyeNation19 you were never a tech so who cares what you called the bomb suit. You're a stolen valor poser POS. You must feel great about yourself.
The beef is real
Yea @hawkeyenation19... The arms of the suit only have 9mm ballistics inside them, not abs.... not to mention abs would not be flexible enough to bend well nor protect you from anything. Dont pretend to be a tech of psbs... I am an active tech so dont even try to bs
@@powerdrifters4914 your active eod tech? Any advice for someone who looking into eod?
Chief Jones owes me beer.
That looked like a diverse group of Air Force EOD.
Their combat uniforms are badass!!
Hooah EOD Bomb Techs of The United States Marine Corps,Air Force, Navy and Army!!🔥💥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🦅💪
Gotta love that order change.. it's always been known as army, navy, airforce, marine corp.. the bigger team always wins..😎
Looking forward to shipping out and joining the ranks of USAF EOD.
Good luck, if you haven't shipped already.
HawkeyeNation19 I'm interested in becoming airborne EOD. What unit were you in?
HawkeyeNation19 Also, do you have any advice or tips? Thanks in advance.
HawkeyeNation19 you are so full of shit. Why lie? You were definitely not a tech and perhaps never even in the military. Any real EOD guy can spot a phoney from a mile away. If you were a tech, prove me wrong, but you weren't, so you can't. Just from the few sentences you typed, I know you're a poser. If you want to be EOD so bad, put your ass on the line and do it. It's easier to pretend though, right?
HawkeyeNation19 I will continue, bud. Exactly what company and battalion were you in when you were in army "airborne EOD?" I realize you are getting most of your bullshit info from the CZcams video of the EOD guys doing a jump. So tell me, how many TLs are in an EOD company? And you never did a jump into Iraq or Afghanistan. You are so full of shit it's crazy. Absolutely pathetic.
Was gonna do this, but when he said "you can provide the ultimate sacrifice" i'm now considering it...
WeBe Flexin I know this comment is a year old and there’s no telling what you have or have not done inside of a year. Let me just say that you shouldn’t let that hold you back from something you want to do. If this is a career you are interested in then go for it. You could possibly die in a car accident any day. Don’t let death scare you out of cool shit
Bernie Gurrs were you eod?
Honestly listen to this Burnie guy. Anyone in a hospital room or on there last second will tell you, if you ever think about doing something just go and do it. We don't get much time on this planet and you should spend it doing things you wants to do. Or else you'll end up waisting it and bad shit happens anyway no matter how safe you are.
Anyone else thought she looked high speed as fuck?
is there a big difference between air force EODs and navy EODs?
I'd say there is a big difference because Navy EOD are able to be attached to Special Operation Units i.e. SEAL's, Special Forces, etc. They are trained in underwater demolition and go to airborne school, and also have more advanced weapon training. They are borderline spec ops themselves.
+Adrian Shamy thx
Adrian Shamy I believe they are actually considered spec ops which is why they get a little better funding than the other branches
+Chase Williams thx I didn't know you need prior service for navy EOD
+Chase Williams Do you know anything about swcc and cct
