- This is the alternative ending in Japanese to Episode Ignis (Chapter 3 Verse 2). The fight took quite a bit but was pretty amazing. Ignis is cemented as the best bro. Sorry for the weird hiccups at the end, the recording really didn't wanna work with me. You can only play this ending after clearing the episode normally.

Jon Wootton Speaking of Naruto though, Ignis and Noctis have a better bromance relationship story than both their female counterparts in both Naruto and FFXV. Who needs Luna or Hinata/Sakura when you have Iggy cooking your dinner, am I right?😁
Edit: It's a hard pick between Kakashi and Itachi to me. But they're both in my top favourites.
Ardyn's plan was going without a single flaw, until Ignis pulled off the middle finger on him and changed the entire outcome. Truly a heroic sacrifice from Iggy.
Pity that the subs only say what is in the english dubs, they don't translate the japanese very well at all.....

Second line also makes more sense overall, as you get the choice to sacrifice his life to the ring later, which doesn't really make sense in the ENG version as he already declared he would.

As you can see,Ardyn motive was to eliminate Lucis generation but he seems not to interested to kill Noctis allies,he just played with them.besides,prompto was still alive after getting caught by Ardyn.
Fun fact: Ardyn is voiced by keiji fujiwara. He also play as Hiroshi Nohara (Crayon Shinchan's Father)
And he also voiced Reno.

Is the alternative ending changes the main story? How if I play it after Altissia? Is Ignis still blind in the main story?
The second choice will only appear after doing the first one.
So this is a “better” ending in that Ravus doesn’t die which I suppose means there are no people becoming demons?

i am wondering when do they actually developing this dlc, coz Ardyn voice is still Kenji here and Kenji is supposed to be retired in 2016 already.
I read he started working again a few months ago or something and he still did a few things this year, just not a lot. He does sound a bit different though when he first arrives here, more high pitched.
oh then did he go back to act Hiroshi in Shinchan yet?
Not too sure, they only mentioned him returning from hiatus (see: www.otakuusamagazine.com/voice-actor-keiji-fujiwara-gradually-returning-following-hiatus/) so I think he's only doing smaller roles for now. Hopefully he's doing fine and will return to Shinchan too.

first of all I thought that ravus WAS died?
bqindira This is the alternate verse in which instead of Ignis going blind fighting Ardyn to protect Noct he "joins" Ardyn and learns of Nocts inevitable sacrifice and the whole betrayal between Ardyn and the first king of Lucis. Ravus in this timeline joins up with the 4 bros becoming the 5th bro.
Yup, Ravus just died when Ardyn attacked him. Without him, he still lives
He doesn't die to Ardyn but transforms later in game.
Ardyn condemns him to death by turning him into a daemon that the only way to put him out of his misery is to kill him. It shows this in the Ch 13 extra verse with Gladio/Ignis how Ardyn fooled Ravus & he was attacked by Ardyn (which is when we assume he turned him into a daemon)
This game's pretty cool I think there's a movie based on it
The movie is more of a prologue about how Insomnia fell at the hands of Niflheim
