Dave. I watched this video on Monday here in the UK. You and your team are inspirational and endlessly entertaining. I started following the channel on the word of my Dad who also followed and watched your videos. He loved off-roading and recovery and here in the UK was a well respected amateur. Sadly he died on Monday after a long battle with cancer! But, thanks to you and the like…….. he had entertainment, education and something to talk about and share with friends. Thank you so much for just being what you are! And thank you for what you un intensionally gave my Dad

@@KallePihlajasaari unrealistic to leave it that small for equipment he can always figure plenty of ways out to make it just as hard to get to such as a series of heavy duty gates or simply when everything is done I'm sure they could move enough ground coming back down to make the road small enough again

Not just that but the perfect hire at that. He’s the guy at construction sites that you point at something and say do and they will have it done. How, who knows but it’s done and quickly at that.
He’s that dream hire all company’s are looking for as he’s the jack of all trade work horse. Plus he’s good on camera, meshes well. Also you don’t have to worry about him getting in trouble because besides his bad eating and hording habits he’s a hermit so if he’s not working he’s at his compound doing the same thing

He will make any money he spent on it and more back with the views and sponsorships. It's an investment and a smart business decision for his channel since Allen is so popular. Dave loves the crazy stuff too, so it's a win-win for him.
Alan’s just really Focused! He’s either made up his mind to get his personal goals done or help somebody get theirs done. But don’t mess his stuff up if you go there to help him, it’s all got it’s place and history and he don’t want to upset that. Just help with his job and be patient to help him or go away! But he’s a great man.

I can imagine setting there having a conversation with Alan it would either be hours or minutes. He just looks like that type of person who will read your vibes and if he thinks that you are full of it he is done and will send you packing.
He is definitely a great add to your team and you never see him just walk away from the job no matter how big or small. Life at the compound seems to be a different story with tons of started or half completed jobs. It's almost like he is all in at first and then SQUIRREL and he loses his train of thought and starts something totally different. 🤔
I think it is more like Alan can see the whole thing in his head as he wants it to be. So he starts things that he already knows need to be done before he can move onto others. Doesn't mean those things need to be 'finished'...just that they needed to be to a certain point before 'larger' things could take place.
Think about it like Lego's, or model building...there are a lot of small steps that need to be done before 'main assembly' can begin. This is no different.
He's also stated on his channel that he works on different things different times of year, and when he has supplies to work on a project. When he has block and concrete, he works on the compound. When he doesn't have those things or is waiting on them, he works on other things. He has it all in his head and sees the big picture.
