Correction - The Punch has a spare wheel located under the floor like on the bigger Harrier.
Surprisingly neither Maruti nor Hyundai ever thought of twin cng cylinders....these so called Market leaders only kept on working on electronic features but not on the Mechanical issue which Tata has done it cleverly 👍👌

Nowadays even CNG is too expensive gone are the days of CNG and diesel savings in smaller cars because of price difference in fuel in the past.

Having twin cylinder CNG tanks in a car is a great idea for making the boot space usable. Impressive job by Tata Motors. And both the cars have the spare wheel under the body, which I didn't thought off, as I was guessing there would be no spare tyre which will unnecesary increase the weight and would rely on the puncture repair kit.
This is game changer....
@Sergius Not sure of Altroz iCNG, but i think atleast the Punch iCNG gets a spare wheel mounted under the car at the back

Tata is really going strong. Service network is improving.
Powertrain is becoming more refined, powerful and efficient.
More innovation in features that matter.
That means Punch is going to become the highest selling car in Indian market, it will topple baleno & wagon R 🔥🔥🔥

Car manufacturers never retrofit Cng.
No retrofit. RTO has banned it.

I have an Altroz XZ petrol modal 2021 - So my question is, once tata launch the iCNG modal, should I fit the CNG kit from the authorized tata service center or not ?
When will those cng cars available in market
The problem with these models of Punch & ALTROZ is that they still continue to carry the old Infotainment System & Instrument Cluster which has now been revamped in Altroz Racer, Harrier & Safari.
Tata did this because it’s a customer centric company.. suzuki never did this because they wanted profit

Tata 3 cylinder engines in tiago , punch , tigor are not tuned properly.
So much vibrations and poor mileage .

Yeah it's a good thing and also very unique but what abiut the safety? Imagine if someone puts a thing made of metal in the boot and if the car hits a pothole or anything that thing in the boot might put pressure on the cyclinders and the cylinders can blast too.
So the cylinders should be protected by a cage type thing i don't know what to do as I'm currently in high school, but yeah TATA MOTORS should think about the safety, or maybe they just did that to showcase the cylinders and they shall be putting the cylinders in a safe compartment. 🙂🙂
actually CNG is also getting pricer , now cost 80 rs. soon may be equalize with petrol diesel.

Learn From Hyundai, The have done better implementation years ago on santro where you don't have compromised any thing on boot 🙏🏻
