It's a good thing that the person April "disliked" in the show is someone as kind and sweet as Ann. It wouldn't be such an entertaining dynamic if it was anyone else

Ann and April singing Time after Time together is one of my favorite scenes in the show.

One of my favorite Ann/April moments was when Ann laughed at the Guy Fieri joke and it made April smile. 7:54 It's a simple glance behind the curtain of their outward relationship that speaks volumes and it's perfectly executed by both actresses.

The details and nuances of all the relationships on this show were so well written. I still find it criminal this show never won a single Emmy.

It’s called having money. You’ll notice often new shows with unknown actors or actresses, over time, they become prettier because they actually get their hair professionally styled and it ends up showing in their works. Lol

Even in context, I found her mean and not in an endearing way. That she did in fact secretly like Ann was not expressed enough in the series for me to appreciate how she acted.
I just realized that Ann gets excited for Ann regarding veterinary school, and April produces the giant syringe.
She didn’t tell anyone or intimate them at she would, which is why April threatened her in the first place.
I've secretly believed April loved Ann and couldn't admit it for fear of rejection
She probably did, but her feelings for Andy and about Ann and Andy's relationship definitely complicated things.
Their dynamic is like mine and my sister's when we were growing up 😂 I just wanted to be there for her and she just wanted to be a sarcastic, angsty teen. Thankfully we're both chill now 🙏

Ann is legit the nicest character that there has ever been. She’s always positive, even when everyone else is negative, and she never once rocks the boat with anyone, instead choosing to just sit there and turn the other cheek whenever anyone takes shots at her. The fact that they made a character like this, and then made another character who somehow despises her shows the genius in the writing of this show.
