We have enjoyed it so far. I think the scenarios slowly ramp up. I agree the story is a lot and would have been better with a voice over. We came to the game having never played a dungeon crawler and I felt it worked well for us and possibly is where it was aimed at (?). However if it is aimed at that audience the price point would defiantly be a problem for a lot of people in my opinion. We only bought it as I had accidentally watched a play through and got hooked. The app has a table outline which instructs you on where to start adding the terrain which is great and helps to not run out of space but it wasn’t immediately obvious and we did spend the first couple of scenarios shifting stuff around.

I think I share your experience with the game. I did like the assemble-the-terrain part, some locations are very creative, and the immersion is real. Combat and storytelling are definite weak points in this game, and that's odd, as FFG really has other games where it's done so well (arkham horror drips with flavour, for example). Combat does tend to get very repetitive, unfortunately, and there isn't enough incentive to switch skills or customise characters (or perhaps I haven't seen it?). An allround eye-catcher, and good narrative campaign (different to the big G, for sure).
