    Definitely sorry to hear about your experience with Frito. As an experienced driver myself I can definitely say that someone should have called you back. With that being said. Working these types of routes are not for everyone. Getting up at 1 or 2 in the morning, working with different receiver's with bad attitudes. It's not easy at all. If anything I'd recommend getting your CDL which will open more doors for you. Working in transportation can be a overwhelming at times but the money is worth it. Best of luck in your future endeavors 💯.

    100% going through this now. Im just a new merch so im relief. I was being basically yelled at by an rsr in a group text with 2 managers and not once did a manager say anything. That was 4 days ago and still have not heard from anyone. I took the next 2 days off before my scheduled 2 making 4 in a row and complete silence. But thats normal at rhis point. Ive been made to feel like a loser and am not believed when giving facts and they go straight to me in the wrong. We will see if im fired if they show up at a store tomorrow. I dont even have a route for tomorrow yet either

    Where I’m at it mentions the pay rate : $69,300 / year target earnings.
    Is this the base pay?

    • @wasntethereum
      @wasntethereum Před 9 měsíci

      Target pay is base pay(salary component) + hourly rate overtime + bonus structure(sales plan of a route if you're an RSR).
      This can vary depending if you're an RSA(floater person) or an RSR(you're on a set route that you run).
      Overtime can reallllllly make a big difference when your an RSA. When your an RSR you get Chinese overtime so its not as lucrative.

      @wasntethereum BASE PAY bro...she means the hourly rate by itself...not the total. Target earnings can be deceiving because ot will vary and you may not always hit the sales goals.

    Sounds like you got tired of getting up early and working hard and are using these issues as an excuse to quit.

      It sounds like you were not in a good fit. And that’s OK It’s not a job for everyone. It’s a very hard job but the saying is “ it’s just potato chips”. There’s so much involved with a route especially large format. You have a Numbers supervisor,leads,Co leads,merchandiser, DC getting orders, DC pickers,A bulk truck to drive plus worry about and road conditions,A store manager,Grocery manager,Receivers and a time schedule and each account that needs get everything done. That means taking care of the gondola, all displays, all small impulse items by the registers. Back rooms stock to take care of and rotated and steals to be polled.Also have to mention the paperwork that needs to be done and Maintain for at least a year To avoid chargebacks. I could go on and on but you get the picture. If somebody starts getting thrown under the bus it becomes even harder and the he said she said starts. That’s why it pays 60+ But the pill would be easier to swallow for paid closer to 100. You know I’m right.
